A word of caution though I don't know what you can do about it: SaiyanSC used commentate KCM and Ultimate Battle Events and his account received 3 copyright strikes in close succession and was removed, you can read about it here. He then contacted each and asked for permission to commentate and upload it and KCM granted him permission so now he just does those. I don't know if you need to do anything, but it's worth keeping in mind. I mostly watch games at night, usually when trying to get a baby to sleep so I tend not to have any audio. However I watched 2.5 of your commentaries today so here's some comments if you're interested with a slight spoiler for week 4: + Show Spoiler + I watched Snow vs Light and Snow vs 815 as well as the start of the following game on Neo Forte. My main comment was you need to talk about upgrades a bit more, the Korean observer tends to highlight them so if you notice that you should speak about them. When Light finally moved out in set 5, he had +3 weapons, at this point Snow had I think +1 armour and +2 weapons, this is a big advantage for Light at even supply and in a straight up battle you'd expect him to win. However, instead of engaging, Snow took out his expansion and then managed to get some great storms. I think this is something you should mention and something people new to the game watching might not be aware. In Snow vs 815, Snow started upgrading +1 weapons before he had his first zealot out, this is incredibly early and he was unlucky his first two zealots didn't do anything. He quickly also put down a second forge which you didn't mention. When 815 sniped his High Templar with the mutas, normally that would be game for the Zerg, however, he was either at +1 or no upgrades on his hydras and the goons had armour, shields and weapons (maybe +2, +1, +2, can't remember), hence the Dragoons were much more survivable than usual. It was quite late in that game when you first mentioned upgrades and I'm not sure you mentioned them at all in the previous one. If you don't know a player or map, it might be an idea to check them out briefly beforehand, I remember 815 well from the end of the Kespa days, he was known to be quite aggressive and have great Zergling micro. Same for Neo Forte, just take a quick look at it on Liquipedia first so you've an idea rather than trying to figure it out on the fly. They're just minor things anyway, but thought I'd point them out. A personal preference too is I would try to name the player rather than the race, I know Tasteless tends to go with race but I think it's better to say Snow is doing this rather than Protoss is doing this (this will be especially true of mirror matches, not that that's a problem in KCM!). Also I'd avoid saying "HTs", people new to the game already will be a bit overwhelmed, introducing acronyms will only add confusion, it's fine to write when typing, but when talking I'd recommend saying "High Templar". Anyway, good work, good to have new commentators and the more you do the more you'll improve! Keep up the good work.

In that game Terran feels more like the "A move" race while Protoss feels like it takes more skills.

Can someone explain to me what Snow, BeSt or Mini could have done differently vs Soulkey's Hrdra+Lurker play? Maybe Mini could have defended against drops better, but Snow seemed to have effective harass and great storms but just could not break out. I don't know enough to know what they could have done differently or if they did something wrong.

If I remember correct they all fell tiny bit behind before that and in PvZ small protoss mistakes usually means game. Its a very peculiar match, hard to say is imbalanced coz Protoss has all the tools to win games equally, on the other hand Protoss mistakes are way more punishing. Also slight map changes can turn the balance upside down. I guess it is what it is, nice games,

Sure, it is technically balanced at extremely high level, but T basically loses if they make any mistakes (lose tanks early, one bad push, etc. etc.) while Protoss has a lot more leeway.

I feel it's not quite the same though as the Terran has to make a mistake in those cases, I couldn't see an obvious mistake in those three games vs Soulkey and they were all pretty similar (of course I could be wrong here and there was an obvious mistake -- I watch most of my games in the middle of the night trying to get a baby to sleep so I could easily miss things!). Also Terran can turtle and hold their initial base + natural vs Protoss much easier than Protoss can against Zerg, hence we see so many Hydra-busts. There's no real equivalent in PvT where the Protoss consistently breaches the Terran's natural that isn't an unscouted proxy. What is similar is that the Terran early game is totally dictated by what the Protoss does and requires a lot of scouting.

Yeah TvP and PvZ are similar when you view it from the role of each race in the match-ups. But truthfully T is far more resilient and efficient in TvP than P in PvZ. That's because Turret, Scan, Siege and Mines are all natural parts of the Terran build in TvP. So any sorts of all-in, cheese or harassment the P is throwing at you can still be deflected, even if unscouted, with a bit of skills. For example if you skip both Ebay and Academy you're still likely to have Mines to defend DT. But in PvZ, if the Hydra bust goes unscouted, Protoss will just die. And even if you scout it and react properly, you're not even ahead. In PvZ, not making mistakes doesn't win you the game. You have to come out and force mistakes from the Zerg. Bisu was so good at that, that's why he had an easier time with Zerg than his fellow Protosses.
