This season I will be rooting for KenZy and Jaeyun. Because KenZy is playing R vs Z and Jaeyun picks P vs Z. So I wonder what will happen if they meet each other? I think the world can't bear the paradox this big and we will see the universe collapse.

I just find it strange that groups are being played on Friday mornings / business hours (for North Americans, at least). People will have work and it's a bit unfair that it's not taken into account. I get that a majority of the players are in EU so this doesn't effect them, but then then maybe European based groups should play the Friday slot. Though this is hard to do since it's randomized and typically there's always 1 NA per group anyways.
I see a few North Americans playing the Friday slot right now which probably makes it difficult for them, unless there will be pre-play allowed.
For instance, Group E since it's 100% EU, that group should've just been defaulted to the Friday slot at the very least.

Will Nyoken solo cast group F? I'd love a guest caster.

Not every game is played live, some are casted from replays hence played beforehand.. its the 12th edition, you would think this is well known by now..

Even if that’s true, the draws are made just several days before the scheduled matches. So you’d have to basically find a way and coordinate the pre play right away, assuming that’s even allowed.
And even then, you will have people who will just say “I can’t pre play” - and then you have the guy that can’t play on Friday because he has a job during business hours. God forbid. So then it’s the guys fault for having work during business hours in a league that schedules matches during business hours in a global tournament?
It’s just a bad situation and a poor scheduling system. It’s rushed. In the past, groups were spread out so you could actually pre play and coordinate it. I played in BSL 6 and I know that’s how it was - better spacing to actually avoid situations like this.
What’s the rush for nowadays?

We need to finish these both BSL Seasons (11, 12) till the end of the may. That was the only option to schedule that, if you will give a closer look into RO4 and Finals - its Saturday -> Sunday, because there were no additional space to move it (ladder reset last season didn't help).
It's exhausting for me as well, if you will ask. Players has to arrange 3 games, if they care just a little bit, they will manage to do it. I'm very flexible in terms of re-scheduling matches, small amount of good will is enough to play your matches even if you are total ignorant.
This season I created excel file where I'm noting good manner, good will, bad manner, bad will etc. - during scheduling matches. I need to think through exact points distribution a little bit more, but it will matter in terms of baskets placement next season as well as it might cause ban from one season if someone will be over ignorant for couple seasons in a row.

Hopefully next season, if it happens, it will be possible to do it in a more chill atmosphere. Maybe even BSL ro24 format will return?
Fingers crossed! Thanks again for all the hard work

Well, let's be honest - players don't have as much "good will" as you think. You have folks like Grimeboss at the worst end of the specturm, and then you have other players who are noble and will really try to reschedule. Then, you have the middle - those are people who may still intentionally not work with you to reschedule a match, just not as ridiculously as Grimeboss may do it. I feel like a lot of players fall into this bucket, even ones that we perceive as "good mannered."
I think trying to rely on a players "good will" is a fault already. I don't think that's a good way because the noble players will obviously get punished.
Anyways, I'm really just curious - what is the rush? Why does all this need to be finished by May?
Why did BSL 12 have to start right away, why couldn't it just be later? Also, Zzzero, don't mistake my questioning and feedback here as negative towards you. It's obvious that your role is difficult and exhausting and you are appreciated. But in such a large undertaking, there will be problems, feedback, criticism, and things that you do incorrectly. And rushing this season and trying to rely on players "good will" to reschedule are your faults this time.
Looking forward to a fun season either way, and an even better BSL13 when it happens with the fixes... good luck.
