He had some great builds overall and made some clever decisions like taking that third below the ramp in game 3, but he needs to go a step further and work on his late game to beat the best TvZer atm.
This is what Flash vs ZerO should've been. Also, grats to Light for beating Soma and making the finals. We are now guaranteed TvZ in the finals as well as third place and they both should be interesting matches. Makes me wonder what ZerO will bring to the table and if Flash will use his goliath builds against Soma.
imo Flash has dominated enough that he has the right to have fun in his own way

I had close to tears in my eyes - I love the Valkyrie and seeing it star in that game4 was magical. I rewatched the game after the Valkyrie popped multiple times again-and-again.

Soma's over aggressiveness with mutas really messed him up on that last game on Polypoid. Flash and JD were confused as hell why he dived on the valks.

Forgot to mention that Light's valk micro was insane! In all the games I've watched to date, I don't recall a single pro managing and microing them that well!

Actually game 3 he did have good drop defense for the first drop but he actually over defended because the drop was a bait by Light to attack 2 other locations at once. Game 1 yeah could have defended the dropships better.

Man great job, Light! Especially that he was able to close it out by the 4th game. Soma threw that bit when he overdid Guardians, no? That was my hunch.
Also, this will be posssibly the best finals and definitely looks the most promising since Flash v Effort

The big "mistake" I saw from Soma in game 4 was missing the bio army going for the 3rd, he was SO close to finding it but Light did take a weird path and stayed further to the left than he needed to be, so the mutas only checked where they should've been.
If Soma finds that bio-army he kills it with his muta micro and with the economy and larva from a 3rd base up he completely overwhelms Light.
It was crazy to see how calm, cool and collected Light was through all of the situations he was put in, the decision making was crazy on point, and that he did it with such limited information under such pressure was crazy.
Light has really stepped up to be a truly great player.
