iirc Artosis said it was a televised event, and that they would upload english subbed vods after the fact. The live event will only be in Korean.

Neat. Do you know when it is? It's always interesting seeing how each player approaches it, and when you feel a group of death assemble the hype starts early.

yeah damn movie, didnt even get to see a nice woongjin tvz slugfest because of him.
... beast is the best performing amateur that day. beat rush 2-0 (impressive considering rush is one of the better performing terrans in sponbbang) but narrowly lost to action 2-3 in the final qualifying rounds. didn't know how the scoreline go but he could have made it if it was a bo3 instead? dislike the final round being bo5, drag out the qualifiers to the evenings and made amateurs far less likely to make it to KSL proper...

When will the groups of ro16 be known?

Apparently it has something to do with it being a Twitch exclusive.

Anyone knows how Midas did in the end?

Afreeca are probably playing him quite well to stay on their platform.

It can't be that Effort and Flash would have never played a single KSL, i hope at least the latter would reconsider his decision.
Jaedong doesn't really seem to be strong enough to win a championship recently and I'm not sure how much Last can hold on considering his wrists problem, so I'm rooting hard for the Protoss pack; Sharp eventually getting a well deserved victory would be a nice conclusion of this KSL, too.

Afaik Flash has the best deal with Afreeca that one can get when it comes to what percentage of balloon donations he is allowed to keep. Part of that deal is probably that he is not allowed to participate in something sponsored by a competitor like twitch. He did also not participate in ASL 7 due to his writsts, so it might just be that.

He's playing 5-6 hours a day against the top pros at a very high level, I doubt that his wrists are that much of an issue for him as they are for Last. Last literally cheesed at 240APM in ASL because he couldn't play properly.

Let's just stop talking about the irrelevant dude until he decides to stop refusing to compete.

And IIRC Last was rocking 300+ apm for his five-game series against Sharp and Rain. And his macro definitely didn't look like it was suffering. He did have to cheese in his group, he said as much himself in his interview before the finals, but then he provided like he used to before.

That's because he realized he couldn't go further playing that way and resorted to injections to kill the pain. His conditions are still probably more worrying than Flash's.
