Well if we are lucky and Blizzard pulls out of Starcraft like they did out of Heroes, that 100k fee might go down as well. I'm pretty sure OGN would be more inclined to try a tournament again if it wasn't so super expensive to get the license from Blizz.
Blizzard pulling out of StarCraft would be way worse for the scene.
I know some of you guys prefer to have an english cast so I tried my hand at casting these games because why not? First time casting a pro series so some pauses here and there to collect my thoughts or wait to see what goes down. Probably a couple of silly mistakes too due to speed. Feedback is welcome!

Uhh...BCs are pretty common with Bio terran, especially when terran is a comfortable relative position gaswise. Very gas expensive for zerg to deal with, and deal damage if Z isn't prepared. Scouts you never get out of them what you put in unless you get super, super fortunate. BCs are very easy to be gas effective, and really take away from the ultra count.
I'm sure it's tough for JD to go from being right there with Flash to a upper middle tier zerg, especially since it's not like he went inactive. His body just kinda failed him. That's never easy.
Indeed. BCs are seeing a lot more usage nowadays and in the last year at least with players like Light making them a lot more in the late game. Also, 2 BCs require quite the resource investment and attention from a Zerg player to manage.

I don't believe L_Master was saying otherwise for a JD fan, but the idea that building BCs is like using scouts is far from reality since BCs have their uses as previously outlined while for scouts, their purposes more times than not is to BM.
Ironically, BCs (the most expensive unit in the game ... well Carrier plus Interceptors is technically more but close enough) and Cracklings (the cheapest unit in the game) share the property of being "fire and forget" units in late game that cause your opponent way more trouble to deal with than the effort required to cause that trouble.
Two BCs can just be sent to a Zerg base and be super annoying.
Random control groups of Cracklings can be thrown around the map (e.g. on Circuit Breaker, the Mineral only bases are basically just free Crackling farms). They'll cause lots of damage if not responded to quickly.

I agree.
I think the observer is part of why at this point, the game felt depressing to me. Because once the cruisers go in, theoretically, Flash should be using that time to do something else... but the observer just stared at the battlecruisers the whole time.
Well looks like in the past few offline matches the skill discrepancy between JD and Flash has been widening and they aren't on par with each other anymore.
