Yeah, he corrected. But if Sea had taken advantage of Flash's thinness near 1 and the ground he briefly gained near 5, he could have put Flash in a very awkward economic position. Sea just didn't have the multitask (or perhaps the understanding) to make use of his gains.

Aside from the vulture runby at his third, Sea played extremely well. Could've taken that but Flash grabbing that fourth earlier gave him an advantage+killing all workers at Sea's third.

If he'd had 8 tanks and 4 dships it probably would have been more effective He should have gotten dropships earlier imo but his eco is kinda yaeh

Sea needed to take more proactive action. Whether that action was expanding or attacking is something else entirely, but usually terran expands like wildfire once you take your third because even if you lose a base it's just minerals who cares and it's hard to break them head-on anyway

Also it is much more cost effective to spend your supply on dropships as tank numbers have a diminishing return with splash damage + upgrades.

There are lots of things he could've done and I'm sure Sea could explain them to you better than anybody here if he also had obs vision and lots of free time to think about strategy like us.

There is no passive playstyle in TvT though. When you're passive you're either a) dying or b) just not doing anything which leads to a).

He took a lot of worker harrass to begin, slowing his 3rd, then lost all the workers at his third. How can he expand as fast? The problem was he had no mobility. He really needed to thin out his army in the middle, add a few turrets and work on securing the top instead of yielding it to 4 tanks for a long time. If he finishes his turret line up there and with a few defensive units, the game becomes very different.

He was expanding everywhere, and it worked.
