Impossible results this tour, 3 rather weak protosses beating 3 top zergs, lmao
tt loss especially amazing, since he is double the skill of his opponents right now
BITCH calm down.. And what lag you talking about? not sure how perfect lat and jaedong micro wud help in ur case? that was like D- vs A+, too big skill gap anyway.. ;;

I'm offering who ever the winner of the tournament is to a $ challenge. bo5 100-500eu bet. Before the games are played we have to both send the agreed money to teamliquid representitive. It's the only fair way i can think of.

These are probably the first important games ever you won vs tt, so I can understand your excitement.
Fact is, you are much worse than he is, so it's quite a surprise he didn't manage to win, just stating the facts. Disappointing to see lower skill players advance because of imbalance. I mean come on, you have 160 apm, lancer 180, most of the game both of you can't even control any of your units :D

180 efficient apm is plenty for protoss. It's also not even remotely close to a good skill-gauge. I mean wtf, an apm argument in 2016? You're more than a decade late..

nemu if I win the tournament I accept your challenge for 500 euro with the condition that I know what race youre going to play ahead of time and its not random. Not saying im going to win though lol :D
|
why don't you guys just play eachother right now
|
Sorry Eri, but you are not one to dictate who has skill, since you never went past 160 apm. And would get comprehensively beaten now and then by those over your apm level.
Just as nemu will not win this betmatch, but tt or eon would be fine to watch.
Anyone bet vs me? Quite an idea for pay-in show matches by both sides ^^

actually when I was at my peak my zerg apm was regularly around 210-220, protoss was around 160 though. There is a big difference between the races in how fast you must be. And yeah I get easily beaten by pretty much everyone who qualified for this, but apm is only a small part of the reason why. I genuinely believe that 180 efficient apm is sufficient for any nonkorean protoss as long as everything else is solid. I think it would not be for zerg.

Julia:
Dsaqwe advanced because he played better than trutacz, simple as that. Congrats to dsaqwe for outplaying trutacz in the tournament! Whether he can outplay trutacz in a larger sample or not, we would need more games to find out.
There is no imbalance in favor of protoss, otherwise protoss would be running over zergs at the highest level. This does not happen, more often the opposite happens. Bisu has lost 2 finals in a row to zergs, and he is the protoss with by far the best pvz in the world. Every other protoss struggles vs top zergs. If anything, zerg is more powerful at the highest level. But I think the scene is too small now to draw conclusions from that, owing more to individual player strengths or styles. Historically, protoss have also won the least championships in all of bw, and almost every kespa era map has slightly or even significantly more zerg wins in the ZvP matchup. This would again, suggest that if anything it is easier for zergs to win at the highest level. So, your belief that the matchup favors protoss strongly doesnt seem to be based on any facts.
The most common excuse for an explanation I hear from you is that "2base protoss > 3base zerg" which seems to indicate your limited understanding of the matchup. It is far more complex than that, in some situations protoss 2base > zerg 3base, and in other situations the opposite is true. Im not going to explain zvp strategy to you, because I dont like you and I dont want to help you improve in any way. Also you constantly refer to apm as if it is a measure of skill, which is just laughable. I personally have low apm in both pvz and zvp, relative to most of my opponents and still perform well anyway. The amount you click is not at all important, whats important is doing the right thing at the right time, as bakuryu has said before.
According to you, I only win because I play protoss and im actually a weak player...but I also play zvp. If the matchup was indeed imbalanced, I would have a really tough time winning in zvp, since I am clearly not good enough to play zerg. And yet my results in zvp are similar to those with protoss. My worst matchup is pvt, not zvp. How do you explain that? My skill suddenly increases dramatically when I pick zerg? Im letting my gosu neighbor play all my zvps for me?
I have now knocked you out of the only two major tournaments during the last 2 years, and I also win more on ladder. Most people would conclude that this means I am likely the stronger player, but you say I have no skill whatsoever. So I guess you must have negative skill. Congrats on being the worst player on the face of the planet, with less than zero skill.
You also complain about lag literally every time you lose. And you do it vs everyone. Yet these people who win games against you, arnt lagging it up against other people. I dont experience lag with you, and if our connection was bad, we would both be experiencing delays afaik. Therefore, the problem is something with your end, so fix it already or stfu, or (more likely imo) you are just a pathetic whiner that will grab onto any excuse besides having been outplayed.
It feels great beating you

I take any bet games vs you any time. 500 EUR is fine as long as we agree on a map pool and conditions up front.

What's with all the bet matches? The tournament is for money. Win the tournament.

Koget excellent! Julia you are more then welcome also. We do have to agree on a map pool. I'm fine with playing only FS if you guys want. Because there are so many people who obviously want this we can also all put the amount up and play a tournament style Winner takes all.

Make sure that these bet-matches/tournaments get publicized and properly hyped-up, complete with separate teamliquid pages and casters, Chill-vs-Combat-Ex style.
