Mong played that really well. Last with some fancy maneuvers, but not enough. Kinda late laying down the factories and trying to play catch-up.

So apparently caster's internet connection conked out midgame (Sky vs. Noble).
It came back briefly.
But now I can't get the stream to load.

edit: It appears we are back in action. Sky vs. Noble once again.

I haven't watched much BW in the post-KeSPA era, is the standard DT build in PvP not DT expo anymore?

Edit: Also I feel like Orange is trying to sneak way too many DTs, he needs to have like 2 or 3 on the map to run in when green moves out

Editedit: Yeah, the end of this game is what I remember happening when you try to 1base templar tech against a reaver player; the reaver player sits in his base until he has a reaver or two and some obs, then he moves out and reaver is superior to templar tech in open field battles at that moment.

They both were playing off one base.
Sky went DTs first and earlier, and managed to grab a lot of probes before Noble's observer was out. Instead of expanding then, Sky went for a robotics facility. Noble tried to attack and was rebuffed. Sky's reavers sealed the game in his favor.

Yeah, what I was trying to say is that I remember the standard PvP DT build as DT expo; the DTs are supposed to buy you time for the expansion to come online and put you in a good position if you can hold off the timing. Noble's gameplan was much more aggressive.

It still is the standard. I don't see many games where a player transitions to robo after going early DTs. Like you said, Noble was a bit more aggressive. Also notice that Sky did try to make a nexus (after the robo, knowing DTs were probably incoming) at his natural, but he spotted the DT drop and then the opposing army coming, so he canceled.
