As always, up to administration, but I personally want Bo7, even if it statistically might not favor my team - I want to get as many games in for our players as possible ^^; This is also why I voted no ace match.

If the polls lead up to a Bo7 WITH Ace match, wouldn't be a better reason to live-cast the finals, playing each game one-by-one instead of all at once to give it a Proleague type of atmosphere?

With all the scheduling conflicts people will invariably have, I don't think this is viable. Whole cast would be ruined with 1 no-show/PP unless they do their game BEFORE match time.

Live casting just creates tons of logistic problems. Just look at what happened with DRIT finals, that was stupid. Being Bo7 with ace would only compound such issues.

Well, I feel like the DRATL live-casted finals went well, and the DRIT 5 finals was going well too until Echo had a slight misunderstanding...

Other than the slight misunderstanding that lasted for about an hour, I didn't see a problem in the last two live-casted events for D-rank finals...

What is wrong with doing it off replays? I don't see any negatives to casting replays, while problems introduced by livecasting include scheduling, in-game lag, "misunderstandings" with around 14 people+casters, ghosting, etc. There is just no point in it.

Well, I'm not saying live-casting is a must, but if it's possible, why not? Also, at least if it's possible for live-casting, those not involved in the playoffs can know how all the games went and the results right away, instead of having to wait for someone to reveal who won/lost.

If none of the casters don't wanna do it, that's fine, I'm just saying it's a recommendation. Plus, the players would feel a sense of pride in that people are watching their game right then/there as if there's something major on the line.

I don't mean to sound rude, but I feel like once the season enters the playoff, it'd be best if teams didn't field players that needed to reschedule. Again, don't wanna seem rude, but if you can't play on gameday, I feel like there'd be no point in actually having a specific date for games to be played, especially in the playoffs. If there's lag, unless it's the special circumstance with getting lag with more than 2 players in a game, players would have to play in lag regardless it's being live-casted or not... Dunno what ghosting is, but I'm gonna assume it's something along the lines of bothering players/casters while watching...?

Having played both casted, live, and non-live matches, I agree with Sentenal and really don't think there is a point to it. All it would be is an inconvenience to teams and players alike. In fact, I much prefer playing the games, then watching the casters cast off replay with other viewers instead of watching the VODs or replays from my team.

Ghosting is watching the stream while playing, effectively cheating, iirc.

Some of us have jobs. Some of us might be matched with players from a very different time zone. I personally get off work at 1 pm and sometimes don't get home until 1:45, 15 mins before match time. I'd like more warm-up time for the finals so I have a greater chance of not losing games due to dumb shit.

Ghosting would be having the stream on a different monitor/in the background to cheat. Unless there is a significant delay in the cast (which hasn't been the case in the past), it is easy to do and impossible to prevent. We can all say that everyone in here is honorable and wouldn't do that, but I wouldn't want to even risk it. Multiple people in a game, one of which is also streaming it, has an increased chance of casuing lag, which should be unacceptable for the event. And seeing as it is the playoffs, we should try and get as many games played as possible, and not everyone who can play is always available at game time. TAKK is huge so I doubt you would have that problem, but not all other teams are as fortunate.

Anyway, I simply don't see the point in live-casting with all these potential problems, when the only payoff is some sense of pride it maybe creates?
