Firstly, due to the vast improvement over the course of the last tournament, all players that were registered and accepted into the previous StarLeague are eligible for season 2.
I want to re-accept people who improve through the league in order to establish a progression of skill as opposed to a skill ceiling. Evidentally, once the pool of players who have progressed becomes large enough or their skill allows them to play in higher up leagues, they will be separated in from the league. For this reason, already existing B- skill players will not have access and will be forced to wait until sufficient players have moved onto that level for the division into two tournaments if such a day comes where it is viable. All the returning players are still required to sign up via email.
How to sign up:
You will need to send the following information to ASL2Register@gmail.com:
Most well-known ID:

**IP address is used for counter abuse purposes only. It will not be shared with anyone.

The start date is September 1st at 18:00 GMT (+00:00)
Stated in the video above, this season's qualifiers are unique and haven't really been done before in foreign BW. It's a qualifier called Up and Down.
+ Show Spoiler [How it works] +
The Up and Down format is a tournament format that supports a relatively small player count, for this reason, the qualifiers will be split into several pools of players. These 10 pools will be randomly assigned and will have players presented in a random order.
Within each pool, there will be a simultaneous number of games running equal to player count divided by two. If the number of players in a group is an odd number, the player in the last division will get a bye every round.
When players are assigned to their pools, they will also be given a placement number which represents their starting placement in the qualifier, a #1 would represent a first place start position whereas a #10 would present a 5th tier start location. These will be randomly assigned and will determine the innitial line up.
In order to qualify for the NoisE ASL 2, a player must finish in a top 3 position. One tier is gained per win and one is lost per defeat. In the end, the top 3 will consist of the players in tier 1 at the final game and the winner of tier 2 in the final game. The amount of games to be played per group will be equal to the amount of players in the group.
This count is equal to double the amount of skill categories, thus, give the players who were assigned lower positions sufficient time to climb back up if they have the skill requirement to qualify.
Example:
Pool A
5 - Shimy
1 - Hacklebeast
3 - Eywa-
10 - EleGanT
9 - L3gendary
6 - NoisE
2 - Sayle
4 - Trozz
8 - Game
7 - Pholon
Game 1 -
Tier 1: Hacklebeast < Sayle
Tier 2: Eywa- > Trozz
Tier 3: Shimy < NoisE
Tier 4: Pholon > Game
Tier 5: L3gendary < EleGanT
Game 2 -
Tier 1: Sayle (-) - (+1) Eywa-
Tier 2: Hacklebeast (-1) - (+1) NoisE
Tier 3: Trozz (-1) - (+1) Pholon
Tier 4: Shimy (-1) - (+1) EleGant
Tier 5: Game (-1) - (-) L3gendary
As seen in the example, with the exception of the first and last tier, every player is guaranteed to be playing the next game against the player who was previously either 2 below or 2 above.
All games for a group will be played over the course of one weekend, half will be played on the Saturday and the other half at the same time on the Sunday.
