If they had at least 2 comentators, that would be hella of a lot better, i mean, discussing crap like the ones from ogn, there wouldnt be that much of pause times.

I liked Wack's humor, but didn't enjoy the lack of knowledge. Especially since the stream was "Wacked", so the radio was all we had left, and he couldn't really explain the situation well enough to draw it in our heads. Like I suggested before, have WackSteven comment for his humorous sence, and someone else with much knowledge co-cast. Maybe even a third person, like OGN and MBC.

Are you kidding? The crowd that was there watching the last three matches was HUGE. There were easily 300-400 people watching. When Heroes would get away or die by a slim margin, or when a large battle would start, people would go nuts. Maybe you couldn't hear it on the stream though.

I could hear the audience fine on the stream, especially at very close moments when a hero just slipped away or something.

Whacksteve is a pretty good commentator (hardly any stuttering, umms, or pauses) but yeah, he doesn't understand starcraft so he was a bad choice.

yeah. personaly id rather have someone whos not that great of a commentator but who knows the game details and players backgrounds. and is able to tell what part of game to focus on. in yellow vs reach he was talking about some random shit, then zooms on reach's main and nexus is in red HP from 2 lurkers.

Guys, if you want a better commentator than Wacksteven, FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN COMMENTATE and volunteer for radioITG. They do this for free and its not easy to find people who can talk about the game, show excitement and know everything about the players, the maps and the strategies. When I was trying to find someone to replace Tasteless for the WCG USA 2005 finals when he was late because he overslept, this is exactly what the radioITG people were looking for. They had to make sure that the person they send up there to commentate can talk. Btw, Tasteless did a VERY good job of commentating at the wcg usa 2005 finals (minus the whole announcing the wrong winner thing =x). I highly recommend him for any commentating needed. We also need someone who has a good eye for the action. There were several times when we had to scream to WackSteven where to click because he was missing a building expansion, drop or harassment at parts of the minimap.

One of the complaints I had was that WackSteven focused too much on Reach's base because yellow had 3 lings idling in there for a small period of time and all the while I was wondering what Yellows base had but he hardly clicked there. Another thing he also neglects to mention are the unit upgrades. Its important to click on the units to show the upgrades or to click on a building building to know what it is when doing commentating. If you are someone who is willing to help out, try volunteering for radioITG or something because they are I believe one of only two big shoutcast sites (the other being TSN). And if you do get the job, please don't name the stupid scouting peons. I realize that its important to get the crowd that doesn't know as much about StarCraft involved and interested in the game but its kinda lame to get the crowd hyped up about a scouting peon...

Where the heck is our StarCraft bunny? Zia?!? =P
