I browsed over every page in this thread, and just had to see Wacksteven's commentary for myself. I understand his situation, not being able to reveal strategies and such, but he really has no clue what he's talking about. I know I'm quite picky, as most starcraft fans are; but it is just so annoying. Little things like "Wow, we have the little probe that could happening at Nada's choke. He appears to be trying to get through the barracks into the base. He's going to do some minor damage here." His shoutcasts are just constantly filled with minor incorrect facts. Like when Nada goes for the fast push; Wacksteven couldn't explain what Nada was really doing and why he was doing it. This next example really bugged me: Instead of saying "Ra's sending his first goon to do some damage to Nada's rax; to pull an SCV off the minerals to repair and in general see any activity from Nada if he decides to come out of his base. With his goon he has seen that Nada has few tanks, and is probebly anticipating a 1 fac 1 port build, and has sent his first DT to harrass NAda's wall. He is going to altar his strategy to conform and counter Nada's" We get: "Ra is in the orange...Nada is in the purple. Orange is a pretty stylish for Protoss...Where as purple is pretty frugal, but with this game you must take what you can get...Oh what do we have here?! A DT is attacking Nada's wall!" I understand his position, but Bunny did a far better job shoutcasting the WC3 games. | ||

Reach drops 4 reavers behind Mondi's minerals, and lays down Dwebs all over Mondi's hydras, and owns them all, and a lot of the drones. Bunny is AWESOME as a commentator; I don't know shit about WC3 but was able to enjoy the game, plus follow it based on her commentary + crowd reaction, we so need someone like that for SC... and she's got a mad sexy voice to boot too, plus actually is pretty hot. | ||

And Wacksteven's a pretty bad commentator :[ I prefer knowing what the fuck's going on instead of knowing about Protoss fashion statements and how Corsairs "attack" and do no damage. He's still pretty fun to listen to, though. | ||

How come VOD doesn't show any players like ongamenet? It only shows the game screen, commentator and the audiences. | ||

Curiously enough I didn't enjoy the war3 cast (only listened to one game though) because it's just so very hard to make creeping sound interesting T_T And wacksteven not being able to comment the players builds of course makes it very hard to cast, I think he's good, and with some studying he could get very good! Now, anyone got the replays from day 2 ^_^? | ||
