1. can a chinese living in USA now represent team AP? 2. who is the one in charge of 'who vs who' issue during a set??i mean such as team A sent its best 5 1v1 players and team B sent its best 5 1v1 players, but how they pick their opponent?just randomly pick or by some other means? 3.i dont quite understand the mechanism in week 7-9.. can you elaborate more? 4.so every week we will have different map set? and do we have to use map from the same source? like everyone uses iccup map, etc sorry i have quite a lot of questions, but since i have to contact other chinese players, it is better for me to know the rule/information clearly before getting them into this event. thanks | ||

I can care less about the map balance, I never said central plains and 4 games is hardly a statistic. It just brings more diversity when people have seen the maps less. We just did 2 ISLs with bluestorm as the map. | ||

Well, I understand that balance affects things for 1v1 tournaments, but this is a team league. If the map is imba, then send P or Z. Nothing wrong with that. It's not like, oh, you're T, you're screwed. No, if you're T, play on a different map. Sure, it makes choosing who to send out less strategic, but the new maps are still interesting and would provide some freshness. | ||

I think his example was with Nostalgia that people claimed it was balanced but mainly it was about 50/50 for Terran because the top players like NaDa, BoxeR and Midas played alot, obviously, and hence gained more wins. Stats aren't really that accurate unless same level players play alot of games on them. Especially fewer games can always be strategical wins (e.g. Alternative, just count the times Stork got 5pooled on there..) And as stated by some1 else above, then send a different player>_>' Game simply loves oldskool maps, but he should rather think of the general players that have to play instead of his own likes, that already hurt ISL2 groupstage and later rounds, imo. | ||
