However after someone pointed out how Fantasy's macro was nonexistent made me less happier about the Game 5 win... It was just a stupid choke by Fantasy not a ''real'' come back. This coming from someone sick of watching T win again and again.

Also, containing BEHIND the base mean that ground has free path to the his main. No tank line at his nat/main. The contain behind the base was the reason why Jangbi almost lost. The backline tank lines are why the map was considered to be T>P. For god's sake, Fantasy completely shut down Jangbi's nat and halted carrier production for years. Fantasy lost because he made a lot of mistakes and Jangbi played like a god, but you're saying that Fantasy lost because of the MAIN reason the game was so much in favor for him, which is just complete nonsense.

Fantasy floated 1500/1500 at some point, more of a macro problem. Its a good thing Oov is off to the militairy. If not Fantasy would get mercilessly spanked by him for screwing up macro.

Guys come on let it go , a lost is a lost jangbi was the player at the end of the game that's all .Just look at game 5 if the corsairs wasn't made the wraith would have snipe the carrier and the tank line that he made behind the mineral was effective however like many here I am surprised he was floating minerals 1500/1500 but it could be something we else don't know about . Probably he was confident with his contain and decide to expand to his third and not make it an all in . He was going for a contain and yet being economy agressively .

I think that Fantasy's thought was something like "Okay, his Nat is basically screwed because of my tanks that killed about 20 or so Probes and his Carriers are delayed by couple of seconds. I win! :D thank you ladies and gentlemen!" Then in JangBi's mind, it goes something like this "Fuck, oh man. Fine I'll just collect carriers and hope for the best" Then Fantasy was like daydreaming about what would happen after his second back to back OSL trophy sitting on his hands, reality snaps back to him and was like "HOLY SHIT HE CAME KNOCKING STRAIGHT @ MY DOORS WITH HANDFUL OF GOONS!" JangBi: "I might actually win this!" Fantasy goes "FUUUUUUUU" Then after the game @ interview "I guess making carriers REALLY is a good talent toi have! *herp derp" + Show Spoiler + ![]()

![]() Somewhat related to the topic of the finals You'll see why if you watch the game (better 2 watch @ youtube 'cause you later need to open the next parts in the "similar videos" column): - or just read this spoiler: + Show Spoiler + because this is what I think Fanta ought to do if he had better macro and didn't accumulate 1500/1500. 4 rax + academy + two marines' upgrades = 1000/250. Problem carriers? ![]()

What is this, game 5 of the most prestigious E-sports tournament in the world,or some random ICCup game? We've seen progamers doing this before. Surprising your opponent with cloacked wraiths is kind of a gamble - thats true. And it didn't pay of for fantasy.

Yes we`ve seen it work when terran has 5 mining bases and protoss can`t really know that T is going for wraiths. Also it`s very stupid to do it on pathfinder since it is a small map so even if carriers are caught without observers they can retreat to cannons in 10-15 seconds at most. For that money he could have easily added 2 factories and pump goliaths from them.

You watched two games of Carrier vs Goliath and you can't see why someone would switch to wraiths? Using Goliaths on Pathfinder against Carriers is like using mutas against corsairs or hydras against seige tanks.

Edit : I guess the mobility would be a huge problem vs goons so forget it >_> On September 24 2011 23:31 Vuk_91 wrote: I remember watching flash against 2 base carriers on pathfinder,I think it`s against Kal. He owned him. Completely. You can`t tell me that wraiths are better choice then goliaths on Pathfinder? If it was so that would have been the most imbalanced map in history of bw... P.S. Hydras are not that bad against tanks :D You know, using Flash as an arguement isn't really .. that concrete of a point. He could use anything :D
