It's no Fortress, but it's certainly more Zerg favored than normal, especially in a year where Protosses has been performing better than normal vZ.
hmmm Numbers don't lie right??
Aztec Statistics on TvP
hmmm .. let's look at Fanta's record. We all know that Flash is better than Fanta right? Their stats don't lie. So, let's see
Fanta's Record on Aztec
+ Show Spoiler +What I mean to say is that Map statistics was just one of the factors why flash lost that game. There are a couple of other reasons, mainly his predictable use of 1 rax FE, his tendency to turte (the map made it impossible for T to turtle), They way KT relied on flash as a Final Boss (he could have sent out earlier and if your reason is that 'he might get sniped early on', he will eventually have a sniper opponent later on, so why bother with being sent out early or late?), why not blame other team members as well?
but thats just me

Well this was a surprise! Congrats to s2 and SKT!
Can I just say that, coming from a neutral spectator, up until the end of the match when the thread shat itself rather badly this was the most enjoyable, friendly LR thread featuring either SKT or KT that I can remember. There was plenty of hype, very little flaming and was good fun to be a part of.
Let's keep this going into round 5!

Well the outcome was quite a surprise.
Didnt think s2 would 3kill.
But i'm happy for Bisu and SKT, you really could see just HOW happy he was while celebrating in the booth when he bustet that tankline of flash.
Well, lets see how he fares in a msl group stage.

Bisu was awesome, handsome, and happysome. All hail Bisu, good to have him back in shape.

I agree it's Z-favored, but let's look at it carefully.
By "all but special leagues", which was my favorite metric until I realized it included Dream League (who made that decision?), it's 35-25, 58.3%, in favor of Zerg.
Dream League games are 4-1 in Zerg's favor... although in every case the better player won.
OSL Prelims went 15-10 ZvP on Aztec (60%). By.Sun beating Calm was the only P>Z upset; Z>P upsets were inconclusive but included Killer over Violet, Where over JangBi, ggaemo over Movie, and Neo.G_Soulkey over Movie.
Despite the 19-11 record in minor league/qualifiers, those games don't really say anything conclusive about map balance (although it's heavily suggestive, of course).
The remaining record is 16-14, though, which might or might not suggest imbalance. It's also a limited sample size.
Looking over standard leagues, there are actually only a couple clear upsets, Killer over Snow and Action over Bisu.
So stats say "Zerg favored but playable". I think you can tell just by looking at it though that it's going to be a Zerg map - the third base (with gas) is stupidly easy to take and defend. Fourth base is also pretty easy with any map control at all.

wow, what an unexpected turn of events. oh well, i don't really care anyway. SKT fans should be happy since its their 1st time getting the SWL championship after all

I haven't watch the whole thing but I came right in the middle of Bisu vs Flash. And I find the game pretty good(Its not that great but was good). I was thinking that Fantasy was the one that Killed 3 players >.> I was surprised that it was S2

I'm really confused as to what point you're trying to make here. My post was more about KT's decisions on who to send out than on how people played. I never said "Stats don't lie" and i never said map balance set the events of these games in stone. I complimented s2 and Bisu's play, and criticized KT's. All i said was that sending out Stats to play a player who's almost 70% ZvP on a map that's more Z > P than normal was a bad move. Flash could have won against s2 on Icarus easily, probably picked up a kill on a scrub on CB, and evened up the series. Odds would still have been in SKT's favor had they done this, but i still feel it would have been a better move.
