Flash turns bonjwa mode on when other Terrans are sucking. When there are a lot of Terrans doing well, Flash isn't as good, he just sort of floats around with the general Terran flow. But when something threatens the Terran race, Flash turns on bonjwa mode to stop it.

In this case, it was Swarm Season. ZvZ in both OSL and MSL finals? Flash looked at that, looked at how poorly other Terrans were performing, and said fuck that. Then he raised his TvZ win rate from 62.4% to 70% in ONE SEASON. I can't remember his exact quote, but he said something like "Lately Zerg players have been dominating everything. I think it's up to us Terran players to fix that right away" near the beginning of this season. And hey, look, no ZvZ finals.

Hopefully it won't be a 3-0 with 3 consecutive bunker rushes for the win by Flash. That would be so disheartening and hype-deflating.
