Flash seems to get a lot more publicity because he usually hits his stride in such a way that it has more impact on the community. He outplays the best players. There are no other terrans who can match the top protoss and top zerg players. Jae dong ruled supreme during a time when the most of the top 10 were zerg users anyway (effort, calm, zero, etc.) Protoss players also seem to run in packs; Bisu, Stork, Jangbi, Best, etc.

If you're a terran fan, who else can you root for? Jae dong is immaculate as a champion, but Flash is able to elicit the same community response in a shorter time because of the caliber of his play.

You'll notice an odd trend that the 4 Bonjwa's (with the exception of Boxer, but he's Boxer) have a crazy finals/win streak. Nada = 3 consecutive titles, 4 consecutive finals. Oov = 3 consecutive titles. Savior = 3 titles in 5 consecutive finals (Holy...). JD unfortunately doesn't have that... and of course, nor does Flash. But with this insane dominance Flash is showing in both leagues, this could be the start of a new era.

That is indeed an interesting aspect to bring up; when JD got his Golden Mouse Zergs in general dominated pretty hard and we had 6/8 Zergs as semifinalists in OSL and MSL. Flash on the other hand is single handedly waving the Terran banner at the top of the SC world.

OSL maps generally favor zerg, MSL maps generally favor terran. No terrans in the MSL because they all sucked in their games. (and 4 pool, lol)
