Let's say you have a scouting drone hotkeyed to 1 and it is at your opponent's main. However, your screen is centered on your own main. If you press alt+1 then the screen immediately goes to and centers on the drone in your opponent's main. | ||

Also, you can Ctrl + Q + Q out of SC just as Alt + Q + Q, so that sounds more plausible (I guess Mind wanted to set his first control group and misclicked. iirc Midas accidentally quit a game like that once). | ||

Progamers sometimes use the alt method because it's slightly faster. At least, I've seen Jaedong do it in FPVODs. | ||
