Movies pvt is certainly better then people give him credit for. He took a game off of Flash when Best couldn't and Best is known for his pvt. At the moment he's just a silver medalist just like the other dragons, well except for Bisu and Stork. Movie is filled with talent and potential. His macro/micro, game management, and aggressive offense combined with crazy builds is already better then most of the other dragons. He's already an s-class pvz player something most of the dragons are not good at. I want to see more games from Movie, he will be a force to reckon with next season. | ||

The only way he's not going to have enough scans is if Movie is actively forcing them to use them on battles, which is, guess what, EXACTLY what Movie did. Also, ranking Movie under someone who's never qualified for a league makes zero sense whatsoever. I like Violet and all, but when you never have to prepare for anything other than Proleague games, that generally tends to pad your stats. | ||

I don't mean to be rude but you need to just stop FireGuy. You take a dookie in every thread with your Movie fanboyism, then turn around and admit you don't know much about SC in the next post. He's not an s-class player. He's got good game sense and solid macro but gets very sloppy a lot of the time. He doesn't have any of the matchups down to a science. Just because he beat JD a few times and took out Shine doesn't automatically make him S-class. People need to stop throwing around the term S-class at everything. It cheapens it. | ||

I love how people keep saying this. You think Flash is just going to happen to mis-scan? The only way he's not going to have enough scans is if Movie is actively forcing them to use them on battles, which is, guess what, EXACTLY what Movie did. every pvt forces the terran to waste scans, movie did nothing special. flash did scan movies base plenty of times, in fact the obs even showed it on fpview. Also, ranking Movie under someone who's never qualified for a league makes zero sense whatsoever. I like Violet and all, but when you never have to prepare for anything other than Proleague games, that generally tends to pad your stats. how far has movie made it into any other sl? he just got lucky that he managed to get to the finals playing almost all pvzs, and pvts and pvps only against bad players | ||

I thought he was impressive against Flash even you have to admit that. I think Movie is very creative with his micro (see game 2) with his Shuttle/DTS/Reaver attack, something you don't see often. And I'm using Flash as a gauge on how good Movie is, and remember Jaedong, Calm, BeSt, and Zero all got smoked by him. | ||

Have you honestly never seen a fake proxy before or seen a player trick Flash into building more turrets? There was nothing brilliant about Movie's strat because he had no clue how to play the late game. Why would Movie go 4-5 base and then have no plan other than 200/200 1a2a3a and recalling endlessly into a mined up main? That's pretty much exactly what Best did and it failed miserably on a map that's slightly P favored and Movie going into it with a strong eco/supply advantage. Movie was let down by a number of things, his mechanics being only one of them. But game 1 wasn't lost on mechanics. It was lost due to sheer stupidity. Movie played that game thinking he could steamroll Flash's macro with +1 base. Good idea, Movie! | ||

Violet has never qualified for a league, period. To rank a player so high that 1) has had virtually zero set game experience and 2) has never managed a schedule that seriously involved anything other than Proleague is premature. Movie has only gotten far in this OSL, but he's managed to qualify in both this MSL and in Avalon. | ||

Unless he will deliver consistently I will consider him below usual 5 top tosses. He played a good series with some nice strats but that's it. Please don't read from it anything more than it is. Interesting thing, Movie's elo increased even though he lost 1:3  | ||

Just that you should stop claiming Movie is an S-class player. I'm definitely a Stork fanboy, but I'm pretty clear-headed about his weaknesses. He has a bad PvZ with very little game sense. Movie has a nicer PvZ. This doesn't make Movie S-class though since Stork's PvZ is far from S-class. To be honest, I don't think Movie played impressively. I'm not saying this to be mean or spiteful towards Movie. He's a solid player with good potential. But let's not put the cart before the horse here. There was no point in that series that I felt the outcome was in question. This isn't me being biased. It's what was on the screen. Flash dominated game 1 when he was substantially behind. Game 2 was Movie using an all-in build that did virtually no damage and Flash didn't even have to work very hard at defending. Game 3 was a good break by Movie but mostly due to Flash using a turtling strat on a map that's terrible for it. Game 4 was Movie playing horribly inept vs a bunker rush. So all in all, what did Movie show? That he can lose a big lead? That he can't come up with good all-in builds? That he can break a seven tank line with 4-base macro? And that he can't defend a bunker rush? What part of that sequence of games made him look S-class or S-class potential? I'm just not seeing the hype. | ||
