You have no clue what you're talking about. It was like 35 probes against like 18. Also, there is no 2 hatch standard. Every 2 hatch is some kind of an allin.

Also, 2 cannons actually protects you against a lurker drop as well. 2 hatch hydra would have been too late at that point since he already had his lair going and Pure would have about 500 years to put some extra cannons in his front. He was so far ahead that even 5 extra cannons wouldn't hurt. You can't compete against a 2 base P with 2 hatcheries and 4 drones on your natural minerals unless the P skimps on defense.

Have you ever played the game or are you just a spectator?

Storm drop, but he gets one fail storm off with no kills and one with a decent number, but he lost his dt, both ht's and the shuttle... so probably not worth it

The thing is that calm was significantly behind in econ vs what he would be if he hadn't gone for his 3rd and lost it. ie that's the advantage the succesful cannon attack gave. thus protoss was ahead. Pure somehow decided to get an archives first (??) instead of cannons anywhere and lost. He played bad and blew his advantage.
