Lol he would seem a bit insane if he did this, yes? Considering he's on a ridiculous TvT winstreak and just dominating overall ridiculously.

How did people not immediately smell carriers even before the 12 minute mark when there was a stargate planted without a templar archives and the core was spinning? I mean, even before flash made his first 5-6 tank push. Then everyone - including the announcers - go apeshit when the fleet beacon is planted. I was totally surprised by the fact that everyone was... well, totally surprised by that
this is exactly what i thought lol. the moment i saw the core spinning with stargate i knew he was going carriers. he just had to delay it to fend off flash's timing attack. i do not understand how commentators completely missed this...?
Ya, same. Stork's build was extremely obvious to me. I couldn't understand why the announcers where going crazy when I had already known for 5 minutes. Even the observer kept showing the spinning core. What the fuck else could that be for?

Pfft. Corsair/Reaver ofc. Even with fleet beacon, it was still a question in my mind. Dweb to block the goliaths/turrets and then mass reaver rape of tanks/scvs is a good strat on that map.

Has any progamer actually tried this build before? I would kill for a replay of that lol, if only to see how badly it would fail.
wow stork played perfectly, from double expanding instead of harassing to perfect micro taking out flash's push, to using the cliffs and ridges to position his carriers and army.
Woah. Stork delivered. So did he once again strategically give up on the MSL and the PL for OSL?
And lol at people complaining about HBR pwning Flash. Stork has only dominated PvT for what, YEARS? He's only played on every modern single map imaginable and has consistently find ways to beat terrans.
Stork was the favorite in the matchup and he won. That's more or less it.
Hot damn... Watching the two finest minds in SC go at it is really quite an experience! The Commander vs The Ultimate Weapon. Man, I love Storku so much, it's just too bad he had to drop out of the MSL in such a hasty fashion. Because as much as I like Stork, this is JD's OSL. While flash goes on his monstrous ELO tear, and while Stork goes on his 10-0 streaks, JD quietly but swiftly enters the ro8. The Tyrant will show himself once it REALLY matters.
why is it so surprising that the announcers go berserk when they see fleet beacon? of course they know carriers are coming, but when plan becomes reality it's their job as announcers to hype things up.
It's like when there's a near-death command center somewhere on the map and no SCVs nearby to repair it. We all know the CC will burn to the ground, but when that actually happens the announcers jump, the crowd cheers, is there something wrong with that?

Because Flash had to super fast expo after the gas steal, Stork could still put pressure on.

He might have gone beserk about it, because Flash's "Flash Build" for TvP was specifically designed against Carrier builds on Katrina, so going Carriers vs Flash is something special.

More specifically, no gas = no tank, and that is the only way a terran can hold of ranged goons.

this. also note how small the margin for storks strat was. 1 sniped carrier/bad micro during a crucial moment and the game could have gone the other way.
great game, fantastic gameplan and perfect execution by stork. btw am i the only one who was shocked by storks "skinny face" in the vod? i really start to worry about his health.

Also, Stork delayed the expansion until after he let the scout in (notice how he kept that stray goon from firing at it and chasing it down before it entered his base), see that there is only one gate and a core, and then killed it, making it look like he had a proxy. That also gave him time to make goons. Genius all the way through.
