With the Terran Nifty comsat he will scan the shit out of you and just counter whatever you have. The Terran will then proceed to take control of the middle with his ungodly amount of tanks and mines. YOu are maxed but you are still scared to attack his big gay force. if you do, it usually dissapears even with the strongest of micro due to mines and good teank placement? You think to yourself, how did it come to this? how did i let him get 23047 3/3 tanks with enough factories to tech change at will. You try carriers but by this time its so predictable the Terran laughs at you. Maybe you try some recall on his facs, hoping to delay his production and just piss him the fuck off. It doesnt work. Its and endless fucking struggle late game P vs T vs a Decent Terran. When i say decent, im talking someone like.. Proxa[hp. You stay maxed for so long and yet you can accomplish so little. Too many probes maybe? some games I rack up 90-110 of those little fuckers and i think thats the problem with my attacks vs large homosexual slow pushes. Storm help, but HT seem to be lazy and scared of the giant mines that pop up and send them back to Auir. I miss the good old days when Carriers actually worked and people wouldnt blind and kill your obs left and right. =[ if u are just ranting cuz u are bored then ignore my reply, however if u aren't and want advice, then here is some: when u get maxed make the maximum amount of gateways and take as many expos that are contiguous to the area of the map that u control with your units. once he begins to push you, just rally every single gateway to where his units are, and produce non stop zealots and goons. I prefer a ratio of 3:4, zealot:goon. there's no reason a terran should beat u with his push if u are out-resourcing him by at least 1.5:1, just macro like a motherfucker
then why do i always beats u in this situation

whoever made this post, when i get back ill type up soem stuff to help you later tonight

I like Templars vs Terran. I was told by Naz, I believe, that you only go Temps if you're going Carriers, or if they're going biomech stuff, but lately I've been trying fast Templar storm drops and such, and they seem to be pretty effective. It lets you get Obs relatively fast still, so you're not screwed by Vults. I dunno. Rain, ever tried this? I guess the main problem is that every time they see the tech, they automatically make Turrets, which aren't bad defenders for the attack.

Tempz are really the best thing u can get late game.

hrm.
carrier kill expos.
no expos, no units.

Use upgraded (get atk +3 asap, and armour+shield up as well if you're maxed) carriers. If he uses wraiths, just get a few sairs. In any case, unless you have a large economic lead, I don't believe that you can refute a good ground push with zeal/goon alone. At best, you can slow their advance, but sooner or later you're going to need more than just those two units.

yet another reason to stop being a toss player

I don't think you can beat a maxed out 3/3 tank/goliath army. I mean Nada has proven this to every single protoss player he has played.
Ive seen mass arbs with stasis work pretty well.
Who has every tried stasising workers? wonder if it works.

yust fucking storm them then they are dead?

Mass carrier/templar owns goliath... at least on lotem. Once they reach the critical mass of like 12+ carrier it is almost impossible to stop.

This is too true. The only thing you can do if you remember is sci. But the problem with that is most late game terrans never have enough gas to pull it off.

or fucking ghost stoppers -_- i am thinking about 12 ghost with boxer micro they own u

The moment you have resources and a bit of containment, it's horribly important (in my experience, anyway), to immediately get a few carriers (not too many) or a couple arbiters. Land army vs. land army, with no support units, you *will* lose to a Terran of equal skill.
|
Sci vessels don't matter vs carrier. It's only 150 shield they lose, and they still have 350 hp (with 7 armor if fully upgraded, which makes gol attack 14 dmg less).
BC is the only way to go!

Sci vessels are better than no sci vessels. I too often see Protoss vs Terran games where both sides are maxed with 5k but one side has no arbiters and the other no vessel.
