How do gosus play? listen to the bw sounds more often, you should remember where are your command centers..., gosus use both ( F2 F3 F4 AND hotkeys ), but i dont think that anyone plays the same way.. just play like you want it, i dont use f2 f3 f4 and i dont think that everyone uses them.. | ||

TvZ 12345 hotkeys for Units. 6 and 7 for 2 barracks. F3 on main CC, F2 on nat CC (click on the animated icon to center the cc before setting the area hotkey, like how sometimes commentators do in vods, its really helpful :O), F4 on 2nd nat CC. So, I micro with 123456 then when I need to macro I double press on 6 (sometimes I smash onto 7 but it doesnt matter cause theyre both set to barracks) then macro quickly by clicking on a rax then pressing the hotkey for the unit I want, then moving on to the next rax etc so you macro all your mm within about 1 second, then you have your starports and factories close to your raxes (well not like miles away) so you can macro vessels and tanks quickly as well in the same view or nearby. Then I press F2, click on cc then press s, F3, click on cc etc etc. This whole macro cycle takes me about 3-5 seconds, so you have time to go back to your army and micro again. TvP is pretty much the same setup except for less hotkeys for the units, so factories is set to 456. | ||

.... i use 1-2-3 for units... it is cool enough for me to have 3 groups of marines at hand (vs Z of course) and 4-5-6-7 goes for barracks and 8 is for the fact or port according to the situation... 0-9 is for scanners... i just double press on the last rax hotkey to produce from the not-hotkeyed raxes...the same applies vs toss for facts instead of raxes... | ||

I think Boxer did it in a couple of games, I remember there was some discussion if it was worth to use the arrow keys. | ||
