I think Zerg Muta micro became too powerful and Terran was forced to go 1 Rax expand as the standard opening. | ||

Why play from one base when you can play from two. Terrans became much better at handling early aggression even with a fast expand. Also the maps became much more conducive to that type of play, and less conducive to dropship shenanigans since those ancient times. | ||
