This is wrong though isn't it, I'm pretty sure we retain control of units in the shuttle? Nope, if you mind control a shuttle/dropship/overlord you get the units inside too

yeah I've been doing that to steal shuttle + 1-2 reavers in early PvP hahahaha

Feels really hard to do any damage and then the goliath count just builds up until you can't engage him anymore.
depends a bit on his build, but basically, only build like 8 mutas at first. do as much as you can with them without risking losing any (stop any harassment when goliath range kicks in). keep the mutas together with like 12 lings so you can backstab (1 base goliath build can't split army in half and still beat a 12 ling 8 muta army), and then start droning like crazy and take a third, start going hydra.
like say he attacks with 16 goliaths, you have 2 creeps ready to become sunkens, 8 mutas and 12 lings, make sunkens and start producing hydras while you stab. he gets delayed for 30 seconds, you preserve mutas lose lings, make sure you move any hydras out on the field so they can target his army from the back together with mutas when he comes knocking on your choke. This battle is usually very close and a tight one (depending on how successful the stab was in delaying), but all you have to do is survive and the game is yours. My experience is that how well I do basically depends on how good of a job I do coordinating my units flanking his from behind when he comes striking the sunkens. (alternatively, if he doesn't go back, make a couple sunkens further back, pull your hydras further back, pull drones back to main from natural and just hold on to the ramp while he loses all his scvs.
basically, you've committed to an army with no chance at beating his army in a straight up fight, but one with far far greater mobility. use this mobility to hinder him from attacking you until you're able to muster up a better composition.

side question whats the most valuable unit a dark archon can potentially mind control? (to be fair, there are 2 (or even 3) kinda accurate answers. I want all 3!

1. Shuttle with 2 DAs - then you can proceed to MC More stuff with the DAs (hopefully they'll have enough energy)
2. Dropship/overlords/shuttle with 8 workers - they can mine (assuming that there are still minerals left). Or you can use them to build siege tanks or lurkers etc..
3. Overlord/Shuttle with 2 reavers/ultralisk or dropship with 8 ghosts - ultra/ghosts - more gas intensive. Late game situation minerals are usually worth more so I'd take the reavers over ultras/ghosts.

dropship with 8 ghost is acceptable - that is the most gas intensive cargo possible.

But can you use a nuke with your ghosts ? Given that the terran has one available

nukes don't transfer through mind control. (CC with silo still belongs to the terran). You will however get all the abilities the terran players has upgraded - like cloak, energy, sight range and lockdown. (however, none of the 1-3 upgrades).

Overlord (preferably shuttle/dropship though) with 8 infested terrans??

You only get the researches and abilities that the unit has at the time, theoretically in PvP you could use mind control to get your goon range, zealot speed, shuttle speed, reaver damage upgrades etc. so you don't have to research them yourself

overlord with 4 defilers with at least 150 energy just before a big battle

infested terrans is the most expensive cargo indeed. honestly didn't even think about putting them in a dropship. dropship with 8 ghosts (or two archons or 4 templars or 4 defilers, theoretically) (300/700) and dropship with 8 infesteds (900/500) are winners.

you have no upgrades while enemy has all upgrades:
Overlord with 1 defiler, 1 ht, 1 ghost, 1 medic, 1 marine and 1 zergling Overlord = 600 minerals 500 gas defiler = 500 minerals 600 gas (burrow included) ht = 550 minerals 650 gas ghost = 425 minerals 475 gas medic = 400 minerals 375 gas marine = 300 minerals 250 gas zergling = 325 minerals 300 gas
and that makes: 3100 minerals and 3150 gas gained with 1 single mindcontrol. i win.

ok that is a good answer also.

you do realize if we ignore the transportation unit and recalculate like this: 1) units are counted twice (enemy loses them + you win them) 2) upgrades are counted once (you win them) my group still wins......
defiler = 550 minerals 750 gas (burrow included) ht = 600 minerals 800 gas ghost = 450 minerals 550 gas medic = 450 minerals 400 gas marine = 350 minerals 250 gas zergling = 350 mineras 300 gas
= 2750 minerals 3050 gas
compared to 8 infested terrans (1700 minerals 900 gas (burrow included)) 2 ht + 2 defiler ([700 minerals 1100 gas] + [650 minerals 1050 gas] = 1350 minerals 2150 gas) 8 ghosts (800 minerals 1600 gas)

The last days I feel that my gaming goes really downward, I had alot of improvement the weeks befor that. But now I feel like my mechanics are slower and my think process seems to be less sharp. I have been training alot from 4-7 hours each day. The question is now, is it possibly better to take a break or to push through the slump? How do you normally fight through performance slumps? thanks for any input

I would take a break for a few days then try again.

Anyone know of any VODs with good infested drops?
Probably are almost none, 'cuz almost nobody uses Queens.
