Scouting for random, when using Zerg

Na[12]Sil United States192 Posts January 15 2004 15:50 GMT #1 I just played a game on LT, i started at 12 as zerg my opponet was at 6 as a random terran. I sent first ovie to 3, then i scouted with 9th drone to 9. When i finally found him i had already placed 2nd hatch in my main in case of him being zerg. is there a way to find them before u have to place hatch?

amat United States1788 Posts January 15 2004 16:03 GMT #3 If I don't find him before decision time, I make my pool first (11 or 12 pool). If you shift clicked the drone to the the bases properly, you should know his race before you have to place the hat.

Just go 12 pool 12 hatch its not like you gonna lose a lot on that Also remeber that most people will usually scout clockwise so you should be able to guess based on what time he scouts you.
