People watching my stream ONLY hear the microphone input. If I enable my speakers they can somewhat hear the ingame sound kinda faint in the background, but still.... how to get ingame + microphone working at the same level? I'm kinda lost with the VAC program incase that would help.

When I try to stream my stereo mix sound through my stream so that the viewers can hear the starcraft sound or a co-caster on skype the sound comes through as if theres a thick blanket over the speaker. The sound is capped somehow in that it won't come through over a certain volume no matter what happens. Everything comes through less than half the normal volume on my stream and even if I turn DOWN my windows volume I have to turn it down to almost 30% for it to actually get quieter on my stream. So something is putting an artificial volume cap on my stereo mix sound as it comes through my stream. If I change FMLE to be Stereo Mix instead of Microphone then my Microphone doesn't feed through my stream though it plays my sound through normally but then I can't talk on my stream so it's obviously not an option. I've tried changing the sample rate and bit rate to match the default settings that pop up when I plug my headphones in. But that makes no real change. System Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium I thought I had a better sound card than I did but while looking it up on ibuypower to see what actually made it into the final build of my computer theres only an onboard sound card that the best I can see is some Realtek POS. edit: Yes I have the volume on FMLE turned up all the way. edit2: I even tried streaming while recording my sound with Audacity a trick that I used to record Starcraft sound and my mic with Guncam which can only record one at a time. Funnily enough the sound on Audacity comes through full volume it just doesn't come through on my stream that way. edit3: Even when I disable the Stereo Mix under my recording devices the sound still comes through on my stream just as quiet as before when it shouldn't be coming through at all. If I change Stereo Mix to the default recording device again I get the same issue where my microphone doesn't come through FMLE even when it's set to the audio device on FMLE but not on windows. LOL temporary workaround I have two ventrilo's open with one of them the sound muted and I have to talk to myself in order to hear myself talking.

on the other way, in the lobby and main menu the lag is extremely annoying, i can hardly aim to set my race and i recognized that ingame lag is also extreme when i start the streaming from the windows, not from the game i have 2,4ghz quad core, atiradeon4770, 4 gb memory and winxp

I have Windows 7, would I be better off with a Camtasia setup?

My stream either stays all black or it blinks and lags when I'm playing. I have a high resolution monitor. It seems to stay black when I'm full screen, and shows up but blinks and lags when I use windowed mode. I have Windows 7, would I be better off with a Camtasia setup? I had the same problems initially, then I read this thread on how to stream sc2 with procaster, and it fixed my problems. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=112707 Basically you are suppose to load up your game, alt-tab and load up procaster. Then click game mode, but dont click record. alt-tab back into your game, and you should see in the top left corner a HUD that says to start stream press ctrl+f1. Doing it this way works 100% and got rid of both the black screen and the blinking.

Hollow: I found this problem too, and another way that apparently solved the issue for me was running SC in Windowed (Full Screen) mode.

I am currently using livestream.com and Procaster. That is working fine for streaming the video but it is not putting any sound through from the game. Do i need to setup and have running the virtual audio cables? Or can it all be done from procaster?

If Procaster itself isn't already playing sound despite having "Speaker Audio" enabled in Procaster, then you need to do the following: Right click the little speaker button at the lower right corner of your screen, click on recording devices. See if you have stereo mix. If you don't see it, right click the window, select "Show disabled devices", if you still don't have it, you need to get Virtual Audio Cables.

I'm using windows XP and the only things that are displayed in VAC are, Microsoft Sound Mapper, Sound Blaster, VAC 1, VAC 2. I don't have a microphone selection. Frustration >.>. I been trying to find SOMETHING explaining this but I have not found anything at all as of yet. Guess I'll keep the googling up, help's much appreciated .

Is it possible to setup the sound and microphone so that if I use a program such as Ventrilo, it won't pick up my game audio as well? Is this what the VAC does? Currently my setup is simple. I have the record set to "What I Hear" and my microphone set to "playback". If I want to talk to people tho, they hear my game clearly as well which I don't want, it's annoying as hell for them usually. I don't have Ventrilo on me at the moment, but why can't you set Ventrilo to take the input from the microphone directly?
