Prison Break (the tv show) had that academy scream sound in one of its episodes, I was so surprised that I had to listen 2 more times to be sure. Laughed like 10 minutes straight afterwards.

Btw, its not the wilhelm scream i am afraid.

I too have heard different SC sounds in movies. Seems they are quite popular effects to borrow.. or maybe Blizz borrowed them in first place?

I always thought it represented how people are being experimented on. But it is one of the most annoying sounds in the game and I avoid clicking on the Academy if possible. -.-
