BWHF Agent home page: http://code.google.com/p/bwhf/
BWHF Agent runs in the background and automatically checks the last replays of Starcraft for hacks. It can be used as a launcher too. It requires Java Runtime Environment 6.0 or higher.
You can also run a check on any of your saved replays or on entire folders of replays (no BWChart required). It logs the results and if it finds a hacker in your last replay, it can bring its window to front or play an alert sound. It has replay autosave feature.
For those who possess a valid authorization key can report hackers automatically to a central hacker database.
You can read more about what these keys are and how to get one: http://code.google.com/p/bwhf/wiki/AuthorizationKeys
You can list, search, filter, sort existing hackers online on this web page: BWHF Hacker data base http://94.199.240.39/hackerdb/hackers
Pros compared to other launchers and detectors: -This is not a 3rd party program! It does not modify Starcraft's memory and it does not interfere with Starcraft in any way so there is absolutely no risk of getting banned by Blizzard or any battle.net server for using it. -Since it does not modify Starcraft's memory, it does not add new bugs and does not cause Starcraft to crash. -It's a standalone program not some kind of dll or bw plugin, so you can use it ANYWHERE (iccup, normal battle.net servers, LAN w/e) with or without any launcher. BWHF Agent is a launcher itself. -You can start and close it at anytime (before or after starting Starcraft, before of after logging in to battle.net, before or during a game). -It does not belong to a specific Starcraft version therefore it works after Starcraft updates without modification. -You can repeat the scan process after game, and you can scan old replays. -You can scan recursively entire folders of replays. -Does not require Starcraft or any other programs (like BWChart) to be running or even being installed. -It can report hackers automatically to a central hacker database. -It's open source therefore the risk of being/containing a malware/adware/virus is minimized (if you always download it from its original home page).
Cons: -Scan runs after games (it won't tell you if someone's hacking during the game).

Sounds good, nice to hear you dropped the idea of having this cost money.
edit: oh lol I checked out the BGHers release page for this for fun and noticed they have a post about them vs TL.net showmatch. :D

How does it checks the replays for hack?
|
Wow, you actually went ahead and re-implemented the replay unpacking. Kudos buddy, I just used a pre-made library for my project (http://code.google.com/p/pyreplib/)
|
It's a launcher though? As in, you can't use it with chaos or iccup launcher? edit: nevermind I understand now :D Pretty cool, doesn't take much time to scan a couple thousand replays.
I wonder though what all hacks it can find?

everythign said here.
its standalone but you CAN use it to launch bw (even bwchart can do that or just take the explorer.exe from windows)

It unpacks the binary replays, and analyzes the actions. It tries to find actions and patterns of actions which are mathematical proof of hacking, actions and patterns which cannot be done with your 2 hands unless you were using a 3rd party hack program.

The scan engine part can recognize autogather/autotrain, multicommand hacks like multicommand unit control, multicommand rally set hack, building selection hack, current and old moneyhacks etc.
Unfortunatelly I don't know the whole part of the binary replay (I don't have the replay format specification), so I can't extract all the information I need to detect all these hacks.
If anyone has information about the map data section of the replays, plz send it to me so I can improve this. If I will have the map data, I will be able to detect a lot more hacks than it currently does.

Wow sounds like a really good program, especially since you can't get banned from b.net using it. Thanks.

Yeah, that one I know about already, but thanks. If you read the end of that document, you can read this: "TODO - research each section of Map Data"
For the GPL v3 license, I think you can use any of my code if you distribute yours under GPL v3 too. I haven't read the following document, but you might be able to get the answers. It's a summary of GPL v3 in 1-2 pages: https://fossbazaar.org/content/gplv3-summary

One more thing. Since it's written in Java completely, it's platform independent. If there is need, I can release linux and mac version too, but I need testers for those platforms first. Volunteer for tester if you want to use it on linux or mac.

How long should I expect it to take to scan replays? I scanned my rep folder which has 1800 reps and it's been stuck on "Scanning 1801 replays..." for a while now. Should I be expecting to wait something like more like an hour?

Scanning 1800 replays should take about 2-3 minutes depending on your computers speed. If it does not display anything else, there might be an error occured.
During a scan process, it displays the result of each replay scan one by one. So you should see texts scrolling up in the log text area right after it finished counting replays of the selected folders or files.
Try to start the program with "BWHFAgent-console.cmd" script, so then u get a console where you might see some error messages. If u do so, please post them here so I can examine it.
BWHF Agent also logs the result of scans to files. Autoscan result goes to augoscan.log and manual scan results go to manual_scan.log. You might wanna check those too.
