Its good that 2v2 is taken down, makes those non 1v1 zergs practice more to get their spot for it and that means more non mirror games I hope.
As for BO7, I would spice it up little bit like:
Game1 Game2 Game3 Game4 (semi-Ace only if score is 3-0 for losing team to change player) Game5 Game6 Game7 (Obvious Ace)
OR
Give wildcards like:
Break Mirror: Gives team that is losing at the moment chance to swap player from proleague roster(can be used once per team)
Evil Map: Forces map switch if losing team uses wildcard, suddenly Wuthering Heights is gone and here comes Blue Storm 1.2 etc (can be used once per team)
Swap Game: Only if score is tied at the moment (can't be used first set) team can make one move that can move anything from set to set (of course already played cant be switched). Can be used after Set2, Set4 after that no switches cant be done.
Only 1 card per team per set.
And so one.

please dont take away 2v2.
every team should have a quota on how many times you can use a race per match imo.

I very rarely watch 2v2's and I think that best of 7's would be 2 long. Maybe if they decided to have about ten maps, the teams choose the lineups and the maps are random. So that way there would be no planned mirror matches

Ugh, this is what they get for reincluding hunters as a 2v2 map. 2v2 on hunters is so boring. Atleast DMZ was exciting.

I usually just skip the 2v2's when i'm watching proleague because they are usually boring. So if this happened i wouldn't be sad at all. The BO7 idea is a little to much though, BO5 is fine.

It really could depend on the map pool. If some low econ maps get made we'll be seeing a lot of shorter matches, which could make Bo7 more feasible and would also make the big macro games more epic (since it would be seen relative so the shorter games). Plus, with the crazy macro style that is ever so popular these days some micro maps could be really fun and force players to work on a more well rounded playing style *cough* BeSt*cough* .
While I never really got into the 2v2s I think they add some diversity to the proleague matches and a nice break that seems a little more...Light? So to speak. Always feels less intense to me since I really don't understand what is going on like I do in 1v1s (with even my limited knowledge).

That was probably a desperate attempt to make the crowd more interested in 2v2 (because Hunters is played on BattleNet all the time).

2 vs 2 blows balls, and i like the idea of more 1 on 1 games. there are soo many players now, some need a chance to prove themselves. More games might bring up some new talents.

They also talked about doing rotating seasons - so for example next season teamleague style, the season after they include 2v2s

I'd prefer BO5 over BO7 for regular season games and especially if all games are 1v1.
