The only thing I can say in Rain’s defence is he did say ‘if I exclusively play StarCraft’ which he em, obviously didn’t do. While embarrassing obviously he did avoid the final level of humiliation which would have been saying what he said, actually practicing hardcore and still losing. A veritable sliver of silver linings | ||

Beast's been in Round of 4 in online tournaments so yeah. He's also had some of the more freaky qualification runs for ASL. Not surprising. What does surprise me is how people rate such a gap in skill between players. Players are generally quite close in overall skill across the board. | ||

He'll keep saying dumb shit. best to let fools be fools. Race stats in small sample sizes is a bit meaningless because its all about who their opponent was. If Mini plays tier 2 or 3 terrans he will most likely win most games and get a high winrate. if he plays only tier 1 terrans he will get much closer to 50% or maybe even below. in that sense these stats are somewhat meaningless. then there is also the fact that recent stats are much more important for present day power ranking than old stats. JyJ is a perfect example. started out a bit weak in his early ASL days and is now a powerhouse well rounded balanced terran. | ||
