Following on from posting this in Reddit

how much interest would there be in a BW UK Lan
Broodwar LANS appear to be a hot topic with NYC2023 and Chat Star Lan

So all and any UK players (and even those willing to travel to UK)
drop thoughts and suggestions in this thread or DM me for a UK specific Discord

and lets see if we can get something rolling

UK one would be nice. We have 20ish or so active members, so there's definitely an audience for it. As a first UK/EU lan it would probably be best to be hosted wherever the organizer is willing to go.

Some people from the Nordic countries would also likely attend if you make it in London or Manchester, i.e., somewhere with a well connected airport links. London would possibly be my suggestion, but it's worth comparing prices to host such a thing with some of the other cities. It would be the first one, so testing the waters for something is fine. Will def try to attend if it gets organized.

Sounds cool, i'd go as long as it's at a PC/gaming café so I don't need to bring any computer related items.

I'd go if it were in Manchester or London. Maybe not to play as I'm no longer "active" but it would be fun to meet up regardless

Just seen this heh. If there are any British folk not part of the Discord server then message me and I will send you an invite.

The server is for native UK/Irish players who are living in UK, Ireland or abroad, and also any other players from other countries who are currently living in the UK

We are trying to build the community, any help in spreading the word is appreciated!
