imho, unless you're a crazed all-out gamer (fps games especially), a simple logitech optical will suffice for bw. then again, this is just my opinion, and i'm sure some people enjoy playing bw using hyper sensitive mice, so yea. you just have to see and test them all out for yourself.

I think it isn't produced or sold anymore, but I'm not sure about it. However, it is not listed anymore on Logitech.com (in fact in no country) and I haven't seen it in any stores for about one year... Maybe check ebay or something if you think it's worth it. Topic: As everybody said, there is no best mouse. It begins with different ergonomic shapes of someone's hands. For me it is the Logitech G1 at the moment because it's light, not bad looking, smooth in movement and precise. For mouse sensitivity, everybody should consider his own preferences. Neither do I like it slow nor too fast, so it's rather between slow and fast. ![]()

Its a very small mouse that is designed for laptop users. It small and light and very good for starcraft IMO. And I like high sensitivy for quick twitchy movements. Works for me.

WOW cheap mice have crappy sensors that track very poorly to the motion of your hand. even between other high end gaming mice there's a scientifically observable difference in how well they perform under stress. the deathadder is probably the best mouse on the market right now in terms of accurately measureing the movement of your hand (its not in the major article, it came after it was written and has its own separate article). it's less of a big deal in rts than fps but it's definitely noticable. whenever i visit my parents i take my mouse with me if i feel like playing starcraft there, i cannot do a worker split on my parent's stock dell mouse at all, the thing is very unreliable in tracking the motions of the mouse not to mention gaming mice come with extended warranties so if you break your mouse send it back and get a new one indefinitely for 3 years ^_^

DPI doesn't have effect in starcraft because of the low resolution. SOME progamers use the mini optical most just use the average mouse that suits their hand well, and that they are used to sea uses a soccerball mouse, nal ra a ball mouse, and many with small hands use a mini. Sensitivity also should suit your preferences.

Seas soccerball mouse = Mini optical Nal_rA ball mouse = Logitech Mini something, same mouse but not optical.

i would say get a good mouse pad first haha (copperhead and G5 use the same lazer and similar drivers they give the same performance heh go figure but they are ment for high dpi high resolution screens oh yeah update your g5 you might be behind on the frimware yes the mouse has firmware and if its an non 2007 verson its behind on it this will give it better reporting also dl the latest verson of set point and change the MHz from 500 to 1000 so its moer stable it shouldn't affect anything unless you computer is crap you can change it where you change your dpi heh) sorry for any typos im lazy i dont care
