Also, what's the ideal sensitivity? Right now I play with 1000 dpi but I'm not sure if that's too low or too high (I imagine that ideally you want higher sensitivity)

Logitech MX300/G3/G1 Logitech Mini Optical KTEC mouses Progamers mostly use the Mini Optical. Higher sensitivity = better. DPI doesn't have effect in starcraft because of the low resolution. | ||

Could never go back to an "ordinary" mouse, too slow! I might try that 3200 dpi Saitek mouse though. | ||

There's a thread in the CS:S CAL-O forum at www.caleague.com on mouse optimization. Go read it. Edit: Puoso is wrong. Higher sensitivity is not better. The trick is finding the right ratio of Windows sensitivity, mouse sensitivity (on Logitech, Razer, etc. gaming mice), in game sensitivity, and DPI based on your game's resolution. | ||
