I just bought it and started the rank games. I felt some stuff are awkward.


Tileset: twilight
This is what's happening + very hard to tell/differentiate high ground and low ground. the water is purple and purple crystals almost everywhere.

Tileset: space
Circuit Breakers ramp looks so huge for some reason. Something needs to be fixed here. Also, natural expansion has 4 marks to put your building properly when you are expanding. This does not show on Carbot skin.

Pointy?(IDK how to call this. but take a look at the images)
Carbot skin's pointy looks huge compare to the old graphic version and remastered version.

Thanks Scan. Agree that this could be improved. Though Blizzard never fixed any graphics issues even with SC:R in the past maybe Carbot team does fix some things. Keep it going.

if blizz devs are gonna look at this thread, then they should make pressing f5 toggle cycle with normal/remaster/carbot

Have someone checked yet how invisible DTs look like? Is it still possible to notice their blur on the screen without detection?

Just played my first ranked game and noticed there aren't those town hall marks at nat on CB. Also what I noticed space below rax (2nd picture on Overwatch) looks huge compared to original, looks like ling can fit easily but on original they can't! This messes up wallin for terran.

And they need to tune down that water color on twilight tileset, that purple water are killing my eyes.

Different graphics do not change terrain flags or unit sizes, walls that are tight in original graphics work just as fine with Carbot graphics. It is just a reskin.
And that all finer details of terrain textures transition over is probably asked a bit too much, the graphics are just too different and simplified in nature.

The "pointy" is larger but I don't think it covers much more than the original top pillar did.

That's right but blocking that huge ramp with SCVs correctly or miscalculating wallin can cost early game. Not a huge deal of course, don't think hardcore players will stick to it laddering and casuals need to get used.
