Looking for a few other backers with some money to spend to get these translated. Im willing to spend a few hundred to get these translated. This shit is invaluable for new zergs or returning zergs like me.
Also looking for volunteers who could even translate the the important bits of them.
Im not sure where else to put this. Message me if you are interested.
I think you would be more interested in effort's escape from F.. If you pay me like 20 for all his videos i wud be down.. jaedong's escape from f is ueless..

link those. ty! for 20 bucks i'd do it in a heart beat lmao message me
Yes I would also contribute. Maybe scan would do it?
those dont even feel like tutorials. they feel more like 'oh this is the BO' then doesn't explain much
I've learned lot more watching Shuttle/Zeus/Horang2's stuff. I know Rock has some videos as well but I personally do not like his tone so I don't watch him as much.

They are very good from what i've heard he always keeps him apm low and explains the timings and thought process.

If someone can deliver a small segment of translation of one of EffOrt's videos as proof (maybe 10 minutes?), I'd be willing to negotiate a deal to pay for the rest through Paypal. Does anyone think EffOrt himself would have a problem with this, especially if I then posted it publicly? Is it free in Korean?

I was thinking about this too. To me it has always seemed that koreans tend to get mega upset from things like this, but maybe I`m wrong in this particular case.
This would be amazing, I think whoever does the translating should try to get in contact with effort to get them posted on his YT channel with english translations.
idk how youtube handles translations on stuff but would that subtitle method be useful?
Some big youtube channels farm out translations to the community (translation subtitles are effective and well-supported, but need to be enabled by the uploader. In this case, Effort hasn't enabled that option, but he really should, cuz it's free). I think the best would be to get in contact with Effort and ask he make the videos open to community-suggested captions. It would only help increase his videos' popularity.
Another alternative is to write out the transcription (with timestamps) in github or pastebin.com or something, and link it.
Definitely a good idea to translate those resources, and incentivizing them via private donations (thanks for not 'buying' the service and keeping it for yourself, but giving it to the whole foreign community). It would save you lots of headache if you centralized the bounty and the 'who to contact to get paid' info, by setting-up some basic bounties on www.bountysource.com
Create a project, backers can donate, translators can contribute, without having to co-ordinate middle-men and private emails. Plus, having a public Bounty tracker would make it much much easier to SCALE the donations pool - I would be willing to donate $5, but not willing to go through the *effort* to contact and pay individual translators. Making it easy to crowd-fund taps-into the pocket books of all the filthy casuals.
Had a chuckle in the first game and how he reacted after the results lol. Overall, not a bad video. Really detailed early on which should help players with early/mid game but late game, there's not much explanations and most of the explanations are quite simple and should be well known at this point (aka, upgrades, make sunkens, check for bases, he threw his army so counter his expansion etc...). Regardless, thanks for the translation!
omg insane. thanks. i cant believe a thread i started actually materialized into something. i have messaged you frog/replied to the other fan translation thread!
