BWChart charts replays, but you can't really watch them like you can in the BW client.

To actually play them, you open them from BW (not windows) like you do when you create a game from a map, but you do it with the replay instead. Usually you'd put them in the folder "[...]/Starcraft/maps/replays/".

When you first install bw and dl a replay it asks which program you want to use to open up the file with. None of them programs I listed work. Isn't it winzip? There is no external program to watch Starcraft Replays. Replays are only command lists performed within Starcraft itself. If you want to watch a Starcraft game outside of the game, you'd have to record your screen and save this Screenrecording as whatever format you like. Other than that you can search on Youtube or the Broodwar TLPD for VODs of Progamers to watch Starcraft games. In conclussion: Get Starcraft to watch Starcraft. Edit: I just realized there is a very simplified way to watch a "game", only using the replay. You can get "BWChart", load up the replay and watch the minimap within BWChart. But this is not exactly like watching a game. I just want to be 100% correct.

To watch it, you don't open it that way. You need to run BW and open the replay from there like the way you'd pick a map on multiplayer. Or you could do it in Single player

BWChart would make a copy of whatever replay you were watching, then place it in maps/replays/!bwchart and name it !replay. As far as I know, BWChart still works.
