Okay thats interesting. I always download the .rar archive and just extract it.
Maybe mca mixed up some versions regarding the installer and the archive.

That could be the case, I used the installer, probably worth a shot.

That helped me find the reason.
If I use my headset (jack plug) as default the volume control is there.
If I use my monitor (HMDI) as default it is not there.

hard to say. Did it work before? You should chnage few times default device and post a/v log. Launcher detects in real times changes, but for you has problems with register audio endpoint.

I changed the sounds that play for when people join a game and when you receiving a message in channel as I thought the original sounds really sucked. I imagine I'm not the only user to have this opinion so I'm sharing my improvement.

So fitting within the BW theme I used the Fenix (Zealot): "I fear no enemy!" for the joining sound and Science Vessel: "Receiving, headquarters." for the message sound.+ Show Spoiler +

Taken from the BW soundpack downloadable here: See Sound Utility links.

Below you can download and then replace/overwrite the files in your mca64Launcher folder.
Joining (Fenix): Powitanie.wav
Message (Science Vessel): Wiadomosc.wav

I also store these same 2 files as a backup in my main SC folder:
mca join.wav
mca msg.wav

I'm using mca64Launcher 2.0.0.116 btw, incase that matters.

i uploaded now wDetector 3.39. If you have already 2.0.0.118 then just delete wDetector.w from launcher directory.

hey, for me 118 crashes alot. Like when i try to switch settings it usually does. 113 runs just fine. Is it possible to copy some wlauncher/detector files, so that 113 runs with newest wdetector?

When i wanna configure shitty plugin, like disable F1 it makes the launcher really slow, and in some cases ends in an never ending "not responding" on the top of the window.

so only shittyplugins options may crash sometimes? If yes then just ignore it, set your settings and use it. I only chnaged few times settings there, alwys use the same within two years.

I'm getting the following error message when I try to configure stream settings: "upwenij sie ze podales prawidlowe haslo i login a nastepnie sprobuj ponownie." A lot of the accents are gone. What does this mean? I tried putting it through google translate and pieced together that it might be saying my password and username don't match up or they do and it's some other problem?

How do I stop it from launching at windows start?

I'm using Windows 8.1. It does not appear in the Task Manager ->Startup Tab. I unchecked the auto start option within the launcher but still it keeps firing every time I start the windows.

Any help is appreciated.

when i try to log into fish it ays the application is unrecognizable and that i may have a virus and i need to reinstall bw. however i have reinstalled it twice and still the same thing appears.

It's probably one of the options in the launcher
