We are omfging because of the comeback, not because of the micro which is indeed progamer level and can *NOT* be easily matched by some random "solid" player. These guys are professionals for a reason.

00:24 He sends probes to mine again to mask the counter attack while building an observatory as well as get a few more dollars for more goons 00:44 Observer is comming out and he moves probes out to block dark templars retreat path north east while covering south/south west with dragoons. (Or perhaps he is trying to stall the destruction of his nexus by offering probe kills instead) 00:50 Rage notices this and starts taking swipes at the probes. Kingdom begins to dance around with them to slow the killing down. 00:54 The casualties were beginning to be too costly, so he sends probes back to mine while moving goons to cover all retreat lanes. 01:08 The observer finally comes out and Kingdom, instead of firing right away and giving the DT time to escape, manually moves closer with his goons to get a few extra shots in. 01:12-17 Kingdom is able to kill one of the DTs with great sherb micro (using the cooldown time to move and stay in range instead of just standing there reaquiring the target) and take the other to near death 01:17 Scouts with probe to see if an all-in counter attack is possible. DTs have walled the base in and Kingdom is unable to get more info than that. 01:18 Based on that information, Kingdom decides to go for it instead of typing out. (Showing some great big balls here) 01:28 Rage is able to see the goons going for the counter attack and prepares by putting up cannons/making zealots. 01:40 Rage sends the weak dark templar back to see excatly what is comming at him. He now knows Kingdom is also attacking with his probes. 01:46 Rage determines he needs more cannons to help. 01:55 Kingdom waits with his initial dragoons for his probes + observer and spreads them out in a parabolic shape (semi-circle) to create a focal point for increased expected damage just incase Rage comes out before Kingdom attacks. 02:10 The probes are now arriving and the observer cuts midway into Rage's base to scout. 02:15 Kingdom sees 2 warped and 2 warping cannons and decides to attack now with drilled probes + goons before those 2 cannons finish. 02:18 A third cannon is online now, but Rage makes a micro mistake and retreats with his dts/zealots only to turn around again to attack the goons. 02:20 Note here that Rage manually shoots that observer with his middle cannon, but was unable to control the newly spawned right cannon too to finish it off. Kingdom is able to pull it back and save it. If he had managed to kill this observer, the game would have been over. 02:20 Kingdom undrills his probes and locks the left-most cannon with them, while sending 4 down to his main goons to help with the dts/zealots. 02:24 Rage knows he can no longer hold the choke and sends his remaining ground forces (2 dts) back to safety. 02:26 Mico mistake again by Rage. The dt that he saved by retreating 2 seconds before were not told to hold position. Rage moved his screen to send out his probes, and in this time the DT autoretargeted the goons and start heading back towards them resulting in the death of both and now exposed probes. 02:28 The leftmost cannon is destroyed by probes. Since there are no more DT's in the area, Kingdom retreats his observer to a safer position. 02:30 Rage's drilled-probes ignore Kingdom's probes and head straight for his goons trying to get behind them and trap them. Kingdom notices this and pulls back his goons to allow himself an escape route. 02:33 The middle cannon goes down to probes, but the left-warping cannon now comes online. Rage thinks he is in the same situation as before and continues to attack the goons with probes, but the way the cannons are now positioned allows the goons to not be able to be trapped in the choke anymore. Kingdom realizes this and stops retreating with his goons and starts going forward again. 02:36 Rage now realizes this too and stops attacking the goons. He instead goes for the pack of probes who are destroying the cannons. 02:40 Kingdom capitalizes with his now-free goons and helps the probes kill the right cannon. Rage moves his probes left in a retreating feint (he is really setting up a counter with his new zealots that have spawned) 02:43 Kingdom falls for the feint by not retreating himself and loses all but 3 goons and a couple probes. or does he? Kingdom realizes what is happening, but determines that losing 2 goons yet killing the last cannon is a good trade. 02:45 Rage thinks he has Kingdom fallen for his feint and continues to press with it. Kingdom shows great goon micro and is able to score a couple free kills. 02:48 Rage now realizes the situation he is in and retreats, setting up for yet another feint. 02:56 Kingdom falls for the feint again and overcommits his goons. Rage drills his probes to try to take the advantage. 02:59 Kingdom catches his mistake in time and starts to retreat to the safety of outside Rage's base. 03:02 Rage makes another mistake here undrilling too early in an effort to catch the middle dragoon. Kingdom sees this and takes advantage of it by manually retreating the dragoon in danger. He then presses on Rage's mistake and scores a couple of probe kills. 03:05 Rage realizes his mistake and sends his men back, taking casualties while doing so. He is trying to retreat in time with the arrival of his dragoon, but is a milisecond too early. 03:08 At this point, Rage has retreated too far. His dragoon comming out will be cut off from his main army and will take serious damage before being able to join it. 03:10 Kingdom gets lucky (yes, thats right. he could not have known the dragoon was comming right then out of that gateway) and is able to take full advantage of it+Rage's mistake of retreating too far by trapping the goon in with his 2 remaining probes. Rage does not realize it has happened yet and does nothing to save it. 03:12 Rage now sees it and frantically tries to move away, but is unable to. He send out his zealots to save it and retargets the weak dragoon with his trapped one. however... kingdom notices this lock and wisely retreats the dragoon. 03:12 The zealots have killed a probe freeing the trapped dragoon, but the dragoon is still locked on kingdoms now-retreated dragoon. This pulls Rage's goon and Kingdom is able to finish it off with his other goons. 03:14 Rage had sent back the weak DT that was scouting and it now finally has made it. Kingdom notices it quickly (only after 1 attack) and is able to demolish it with 2 well timed group shots. 03:16 Rage once again retreats his zealots, giving the goons free range (is an ok play) but then makes the mistake of sending them back towards the 3 dragoons + probe with no probe support of his own. 03:19 Noticing the mistake, Rage pulls them back. Kingdom now presses on this and is able to manage a couple sherb shots as well as kill on of the many probes comming out to defend. 03:22 Rage finishes building a dragoon, but does not issue the attack command for another 2 seconds. Kingdom uses this time to kill more probes. It is also now apparent that Rage is going to try one last final attack now with his probes+dragoon+zealots. 03:24 Kingdom knows this force Rage has now is too much for his 3 weak goons, so instead of retreating (the play most people would make) he decides to focus on the thing that can hurt him the worst before it gets into motion: the new dragoon. He moves his dragoons left instead of down and begins to target the dragoon. Rage does not realize at this point that if he loses that dragoon he will be outmicroed and continues to attack. 03:26 The new dragoon scores a lucky kill on Kingdoms weakest dragoon as the auto AI picked up on it first because of the positioning it was in. Not quite a micro mistake, per-say, from Kingdom - he just didnt have enough time to switch them around. 03:28 Kingdom realizes he could be trapped by the oncomming probes and sherbs _away_ from the danger. (For me, this is the best micro part in the game. Sherbing is such a fast technique that you normally do not have time to relock the same target every shot in addition to moving in the direction you want. If they try, most people just either miss and cause a shot error or they overload the dragoons AI and cause them to stall. Kingdom, however, does it flawlessly here.) 03:31 The new dragoon goes down. Rage desperately tries to compensate by trying to trap a dragoon against the choke wall, but fails. 03:37 Rage is forced to retreat and wait for his new dragoon to come out. 03:43 Kingdom rides this retreat and is able to kill a zealot. 03:48 Another mistake from Rage, as he blocks his zealot from retreat with his own mining probe. The trailing goons/probe catch up and exterminate it. 03:48-4:08 Kingdom takes advantage of no combat units for Rage and scores a couple more probe kills. During this time, Rage runs north east to north west to south behind the mineral lines with his probes. In the effort of preserving his probes like this, Kingdom must know now that Rage has something building and about to appear from his gateways. He stops chasing the probes directly and heads south, back to the gateways. 04:08 Sure enough, a dragoon spawned for Rage. It now has ample probe support due to his excellent positioning in the seconds beforehand. He will be able to defend. 04:12 BUT WAIT, WHATS THIS? Rage mismicroes AGAIN and send his probes to attack without first clearing a path for his dragoon to retreat. Kingdom picks up on this and uses it to his advantage. His remaining attacking probe blocks the forward advancement of the dragoon and he moves his goons just out of reach for Rage. (he has range, while Rage doesnt). 4:14 The last of Kingdom's probes join the mix and add to the wall for the new dragoon. By now, it is in the red from Kingdom's goons. 4:16 Kingdom's goons pull back to deal with the probes that are just now becomming a threat while his remaining probes finish off the weak dragoon. 4:30 GG from Rage [For the people who do not see what is going on and think this is just 'standard micro play' ^_^ If anyone sees something I missed, please tell me so I can edit it in] [Chill: V-tec is a different sort of micro. You would not understand everything that was happening unless someone told you. That goes for all sports, not just silly UMS games. Trying to compare myself to Kingdom is impossible and im not even remotely trying to. Apples are not oranges even though they are both fruit. Now please, enough about it, everyone, and lets get back to the great video posted]

you mean to seperate yourself from the doubters of the vod, and proove your objectivity in your ability to appretiate kingdom's skill while stating at the same time the superiority of v-tech micro.

There are going to be some obvious nuances, as is the case with virtually any UMS game, but that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Now please get your goddamn head out of your ass and lose the pride/ego, you're acting like a typical newbie east pub moneymapper, and I've had about enough of it. V-tec is a fun UMS, probably my favorite UMS of all time to be perfectly honest with you, but that's really all it is; there is nothing special about the people who played it; I know this from firsthand experience. Your over-compensation attempts for your previous retarded, now editted, comments are cute, though.. I actually like the analysis. ![]()

and zapling comes in and starts talking crazy shit about v-tec (which nobody's heard of, for good reason, and after reading ETT's summary of it it sounds not even worth mentioning) equivalent of me going to watch the nba, seeing kobe dunk on someone then walking into a sports bar as they are discussing the lakers and saying hey, i've seen better at the local gym i play at, its a different kind of basketball, you can't really compare it, kobe would take hardcore practicing to beat these guys and me do you know how ridiculous you sound zapling haha

Hot_bid: I realized my comments before were unwarrented and removed them because I no longer feel that way. You also seem to think ETT does not like the game, which is quite the opposite of how he feels. Edit: There is no mention of anything like that in the analysis hot_bid. I even ask at the bottom to help me make it better by saying if i missed something

edit: you say at the end "this is to show its standard micro play" and earlier in the thread you said "v-tec players have been doing this for years" i think that your implications are pretty clear edit2: and i realize that ETT likes whatever random UMS, everyone like UMS... i just don't think it has anything to do with this video and comparing to the video is pointless, esp. with the way you brought it up, out of nowhere, like zomg v-tec players!! that's all i said, vtec should not be mentioned at all

And you are right about it having nothing to do with this video. That is why I edited my posts out. Stop pretending they are still there and that I am still defending that position, please. Also, I could compare this to Dota/war3 instead since most people here are familiar with it. V-tec = Dota, war3 = Starcraft. Now tell me they have the same micro and that pro war3 players can automatically start playing and winning vs the dota pros. Jumperer: I could say to you "No one gives a damn about shitty Egypt", but that would not be very nice, now, would it? Stop attacking me and I'll stop defending myself. I have already admited I was out of line earlier.

No foreigner can do that so perfectly. rofl,i disagree, there are zillions of talented players out there,it's only question would they be able to cope with the pressure. u'r making an elephant out of a fly just because its kings of bw,the progamers. if u obs any brilliant non-kor player u'd c alot more crazy stuff,it's just not recorded as a vod and they ain't got famous names so their micro is forgotten. i ain't saying toss didn't do nice micro,i'm just sayin ppl have done x better micros. also i doubt kingdom planned to go counter cuz he tried to save his nexus with probe micro, which failed,so once his nex was dead he switched to do or die mode.
