No, you don't get to stream it because it's on Twitch, and you'd make more money in the short run by streaming instead of practicing. But tournaments like KSL are what keeps Brood War's longevity going. I think those who don't compete are contractual obligated to not participate, because they are partner BJs on Afreeca or whatever it is called. But only like Bisu and Flash have this kind of deal, so most ex-progamers still participate.

Any word why he enjoys SC2 more than BW? define "top brood war pros" out of the gsl players who had qualified for this season, the following were active proleague players for their teams in bw in its last iteration (2012): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Obviously if he skips the next KSL that confirms it. I agree it sucks. I enjoy the KSL format way more.

[/QUOTE] ts usually more about money contracts sponsorships and what not i remember when fantasy military service was done he said he was making a difficult choice and that he was not confident on his chances in scbw turning pro again

Asshole deal by Afreeca, if thats the case. There was a similar situation with Brood War GSL. Pretty sure the players in question accepted contracts knowing the stipulations. In exchange, they make more money. They didn't HAVE to accept and I imagine they can terminate their contract and give a higher % cut to Afreeca if they wanted to participate in KSL. So, it's not entirely on Afreeca.
