BNet-X is already patched to 1.14. We're just waiting for PP to be fixed so that maps can be played again. =]

c'mon man, i figured it out almost instantly. first patch message?
Forcing people out of options is no way to run things. I would think Blizzard would know this. I suspect that your monopoly idea is wrong and either this:

Probably unintended, and caused by the protection PGT has on their maps.
On another note, why does this have to come out while I'm without a computer I can use to play it on!?!?!
or this:

Edit: I can't read apparently. Others are correct, you can't join them, but you can host them just fine. I suspect it's all protected maps based on some quick UMS testing.
I certainly agree with Manablue. If Blizzard wanted to run PGT out of the ladder scene they wouldn't need to do something like this. They could institute much more effective methods.

They only have authority over United States on hosting servers, because it's in Canada well ya.. Blizzard can't do too much to it in the legal matter unless PGTour starts forcing people to pay to play.

And now, once blizzard can finally remove money maps in all of their vicious incarnations, starcraft will grow!
hate to break it to you but sc isn't going to be growing any time soon, especially if money maps are removed like you say. But that's completely off topic. It's nice blizz made this and is at least showing they want to fix all the bugs still.
