You play ladder games and obtain points which you can use in the point mall to buy special icons. they have a set of icons provided by fish that are very cheap and are usually 50 points per day or something. You can make your own mark which you can give to 4 or 5 friends to use for 30 days and that costs 50000 points. | ||

Beta will pretty much be barebones website, launcher, and working matchmaking. | ||

Typically in open source projects it works better to get something substantial finished before people start helping. | ||

It would be amazing to have tls style ladder climbs for each rank with a micro tourney at the end. If it were built in to the system it might make it easier to run these constant "tourneys" for foreigners? Sorry if this kind of thing has been already discussed. Seeing that aom screenshot just got me pumped up for birdserver possibilities. Still excited for this server even after nearly a full year. Thanks birdie and team!
