Boxer and Oov use the G1

But it is true that the most favoured mouse in progaming isn't the mx300, it's the logitech mini optical though it doesn't justify your stupid trolling.

I always wondered, Whats the difference between logitech mini wheel and mini optical. They look identical.

ryan, why dont you do a google search

I never said it would be "THE most favoured..." but "ONE OF the ..." The postet list isnt really up 2 date ( i think about 2years old?) but it shows that a lot of use(d) the mx300 and the G1 / G3 are more or less the same mouse with higher dpi.
@ whoever asked it: u can adjust dpi "on the fly" to 800 / 1600 / 2000 I know 2000 dpi are no advantage @ bw compared to 800 but i cant imagine it gives any disadvantage (tested copperhead@2000dpi in bw and it worked fine only the shape sucked for me after a while) - i think u only have to set down the sens as 2000dpi are damn fast ^^
@ caution: "mini wheel" is a ball mouse so lets say the older version, "mini optical" ... u can guess urself what it is
I think if we would have a list of 2006 there wont be that much ball mouse users but some more with G1, ktec-ktm6500 ...

btw saw the new Razer Krait today in stores - seems to be nice as well, but i cant really say that without gaming with it for some days. Shape seems to be same as the Razer Viper had...

the razer 1.6 feels completely different on your hand. I got one and after a week I gave up trying to get used to it. The buttons are really long (they're supposed to be 'slip-proof') and if you're used to clicking with the tip of your finger sometimes it's not enough pressure to click. You have to get used to laying your fingers completely flat.
Obviously missing 1 click can be a devestating mistake which is why I think I'll stick to the cheap microsoft mouses

No, u didn't get the point. The Krait is promoted from razer to be a rts optimized mouse - it is smaller and lighter than the copperhead/diamondback - as i said it looks like the older Razer Viper.
And 1600dpi or 2000dpi doesnt matter really - i am much more interested in the handling of the mouse.

800DPI is enough for SC ;X
