To find your computer's local IP address, open the run prompt (Win+R) and type in "cmd". Then, type in "ipconfig" in the window that pops up. Your local IP address is called "IP Address". You should also configure the router so that your IP address doesn't change (which is called static DHCP but everyone has a different name for it). Also, get rid of what you added to "Special Applications" since it looks like you enabled port triggering which isn't what you want (assuming you're only hosting from one computer).

![]() also tried to disable DMZ, but it didnt help as well... ![]() i have also noticed that brood war uses only 6112 port, so i don't think fowarding 6113-6119 would help ![]()

Maybe you are not on 192.168.1.100 right now? Check by going to Start type in 'cmd', hit enter, now type in 'ipconfig' If IPv4-address doesn't match 192.168.1.100, then you probably can fix this by making your IP static.

I know that, my ip match. Seriously, i have no clue.. i turned off all firewalls (also windows). Nothing really helps

try this guide? edit: that guide wasn't as good as it looked to be once I actually read it...give it a shot, though it looks like you've done all the steps in it already with other people here. Good luck ><

If you had DMZ on and it still didn't work, then forwarding ports isn't going to help (DMZ will basically forward all of the ports to the target IP address). Are you sure that your ISP isn't blocking the requests?

Even though I forwarded 6112 with the right IP and use static ip AND put BW to the windows firewall exceptions... I still couldn't play in public games with more than 2 players, that is including me, without having mass lag. (every1 but host n me would have 2 green bars in game lobby) Till this day I have not found a solid fix... ![]() Maybe this helps: the way I currently fix it is by running µtorrent before I run BW, using this configuration. ![]()
