---a good bound map (like marathon bound or pirate bound or circle bound difficulty; bounds had the problem of being too easy or being too hard imo, particularly with non lan lat. I don't care if you start with 9000 lives and it takes 200 lives to beat a level). ---some bound and destroys/bound and controls were alright (some versions of bound and control 4, bound and control 2 was alright, and bound and control 3 by flydream_lovely is great and I want to beat it). Bound and control you beat a bound to choose units to kill other units, bound and destroy you bounded against other humans to choose units to kill each other. ---similar vein some bound and defends or dodge the rapist/dodge and defends (I recall 2 different versions, one where you dodged different size units to get the points up to buy defense and one where you got points by reaching a certain zone on larvae concentration gradient) were quite fun ---kill 10000 hydras/20000 dragoons ---jailbreak 7 and jailbreak 10 were alright ---many of the defense maps were fun, even if some were easy (toad's turret was fun ^.^, also marine d perfection, can you stop one unit, spider mine d if you were red or white, lurker d, etc. corsair d was funny because you won if you just went for valkryies). --cat and mouse, but people only liked to play fucking 5v1 jungle and that SHOULD be impossible for the cat if the mice are competent. at least if the map versions has it where you run between the civilians ---futbol (zergling burrows to shoot) ---scv football ---baseball 1.72 (was repetitive but fun) ---volleyballs/dodgeballs ---mario parties/minigame parties ---random micro challenges ---diplomacy/risk was alright sometimes; I didn't play much ---a couple of the dbzs were alright ---snipers ---vtec paintball if you got a good 3v3 ---some versions of snowball wars ---hydra zones/marine zones can always be good; same with tug of war ---some versions of "simpsons carnage" or "______ madness" were balanced and alright; typically there was always a like "level 5 >>>> level 4" imbalance though ---some vulture tags were fun ---infinite shift is alright ---run ling run the sped up music version edit: a lot of the maps I played were things where if you beat them you don't need to replay them, like a bound or the jailbreaks or even the 10000 hydras/20000 goons. Most of the maps that require like 4 competent players I never finished because it was far too hard to get like 4/6 players be competent, or even more likely is that 1 player actively hurts everyone else by fucking up. | ||

Also Helms Deep is still played to the best of my knowledge. My friends brother plays pretty often. I've played with him and there are clans dedicated to that particular ums. The game is deceptively harder than it looks. | ||
