After the initial success of the D Ranks Teamleague (Credits to CobaltBlu and Nikon), it is time for some Allkill Action. You might ask yourself what an "Allkill Teamleague" is.
Here is a short summary. Two Teams (with only D-Rankers in case of this league) will face each other. But unlike the original DRTL format, you only need to post your starting player and the rest of your lineup without any order. Then both starting players of the opposing teams will play on a given map. The winner of that match is still allowed to play and must continue against the next player of the Opponent. On the other hand the loser of that match is out of the clanwar. He is not allowed to participate anymore. The team of the losing player may decide, which player they want to send out next and which map they want to play on. This continues until one team is out of players.
For accomodating to the majority of the players out there, this thread will be used for finding the best optimal date and time for the clanwars and format. After the initial period of voting time, I will conclude the best possible conditions for the majority of the players.
Thus it would be very good, if everyone interested in participating would partake in the following polls.

While the start of the league may take some time (need to analyze the polls, to get the best out of it), you can already try to organize yourselfs to teams. I am thinking about allowing the DRTL teams to stay together, but if we use sB.Birdie's ELO rating, we might need to reorganize the teams.

I would like to set up a skype group with every teamcaptain in it. This will help me immensly to enforce submitting lineups. What is your oppinion on this matter? Would you like to see that as a captain or do you want to use the PM function?
Feel free to discuss anything related to this league in this thread. This league is not trying to be a competition to DRTL, but just another D-Ranks event. Such a format just is much more fun to me (altough DRTL is fun as well). Please do not see this as an offense towards Nikon's teamleague or Pebble's DRIT. I really just want to have more D-Rank events. Please refrain from posting anything in such a direction, thank you very much.
P.s. yay 1000th post :D I never had an idea to what I should do for 1000th post. I think this is pretty nice for it :D
Can we use the same teams from DRTL for this teamleague as well? Because that would help with some team organizing and if you want to get say 8 teams, then you only need 4 teams to get together

This thread is more for discussion. After the polls got enough votes (1-2 weeks), I will create a proper tournament thread, with explaining everything and stating every rule, etc.
Also as stated I am thinking about letting the teams from DRTL partake in DRATL. Though we must see, if the teams fit an Allkill format (f.e. a team consisting of aeghrur, Babo, Artanis, Psyonic_Reaver and co. wouldnt be so good^^).

[/QUOTE] That's a bad idea. If you just ruffle players around they won't feel like they belong keep the same teams as DRTL. I would suggest tho that non teamed players should be encouraged to join a team made by you guys OR if there are enough players split them up into two teams with the ELO rating, but keep the teams that are alraedy set up alone.

I'm a little hesitant about letting players whove hit c- before in on this. Totally fine for it on DRTL, but this could get a little too op if you have a superstar that nobody can touch.

I don't think someone who hit C- years ago is some kind of super star nobody can touch. It's more like having a sziky for D ranks. And I think it could be nice to have such people so other people gets motivated to practice so they can beat him.
I would be cautious of attempting to evenly distribute teams artificially. That's something I did in the first season of DRTL and while in the first few weeks the teams seemed fairly even only a few of the teams came together and the rest fell apart.
I also hope people will make a distinction for players who occasionally tap C- and then immediately lose it. They aren't actually C- players just because they touched the rank; they are high D+ players hitting their ceiling.
I'd love to get back into bw. I haven't played in like a year or two, but I was around c- zerg/c protoss before I quit. If you decide that doesn't violate the spirit of the drtl (it was so long ago that I don't even have iccup on this comp) I'd be interested in playing or even offracing as terran if that would make things fair.
I would play but if it's on a Saturday US time, I can't. If it's on a Friday I can play, and if it's late Sunday I can play (again, US time or EU time).
I thought about the possibility to use "default starter/lineup". Every team needs to send me in the beginning of a season their "default lineup". This will be used, if the starter/lineup are posted to late. As a kind of punishment. What do you think about this?
Atm we have 16 people, which would result in 4 teams a 4 players. We definitly would need some more, so ask every of your D-Buddies (would be nice if this thread would be posted in every DRTL Teams Skypechat). Dont think we could pull this of, when we are only so few people.

I think it'd be best if you wait till DRTL finishes. Prolly more people will sign up then.
I haven't talked to anyone else on Courage about this to know if anyone else is even interested yet, but allowing teams to stick together, for me at least, is a necessity. If we were all jumbled up and put onto other teams, I wouldn't want to enter.

Having 1 JaedongOz, 5 eStros and 2 SKT^2 would result in a really imbalanced AK league.
I'm not saying that teams should be completely liquidated, but some teams that are too top-heavy probably should give up one of their aces.

That could be an issue, for the league I guess. I dunno about other teams, but Courage is made up of a group of friends within a sub-community of Teamliquid. We are on the same team because we wanted to make a team together and play with each other. At least that's the reason I came back after not playing BW for like 3 years, to play with these guys.
By the way, when is this supposed to start as a league?

Question, I haven't played SC competitively for quite a while until up about recently, which was about 3 weeks ago, and it was a single player game with me and a computer, so I could see how rusty I was. All I've been playing lately is the campaign, which was a nice time since I haven't played in a while, but now, I wanna get back into competitive playing. The highest I've ever hit was a C-, will I still be eligible to be part of this league?
