Can anyone reccomend some starcraft UMS? like anywhere from 4-8 players. I know some like phantom, TMA, desert strike or thunder or whatnot, are there anyone other fun ones that you can reccomend?

I always enjoyed 'A Day at School', but I'm not sure if I still have it anywhere. It's an 'RPG' that is mostly focused on micro.

SAT (Single and Team control) though thats more fun if you can actually talk to the people, cause if you have a bad team it sucks.

The "Battle" series of games... usually to do with some kind of anime :D

That or a really well done Diplo... with players that are committed of course!

Oh yeah, Diplo Sengoku with the Azai swordsman shield reduction patch!

Spawn defense version 5.8 is really interesting.
It's like a defense map, except that you play against other players rather than the cpu. You make units spawn to your opponents side. Your opponent must build defenses to kill those units. Making units and defense both cost minerals, but when you make units it increases your income per minute. The goal is to find a perfect balance between defense and aggression, many strategies are viable.
Other versions follow the same rules but are not as balanced (ie: either a small advantage snowballs into a huge lead and games are very short and volatile, either the version is too forgiving and you get very long and boring games)

There are some good impossible scenarios maps. Cyrus is probably the best but most are worth playing through atleast once.

I've tried cat and mouse (I hate it tbh, so boring) tried nexus tvz too lol, and spawn defense is pretty fun. I'll try the battle series and the SAT one. I'm not a big fan of starcraft rpgs. We've tried one called labryinthos? or something like that, I thought it was a waste of time =.= but thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming ^.^

Whoa no love for Helms Deep? Get 8 players who know the game and it's so fun. It was also pretty balanced when I was playing I think (some Annatar vers). Man spent so many hours playing....
