If the English SC2 commentators (tasteless/artosis) commentate the PL matches as well, then it's cool, but otherwise I don't care. Edit: lol, it just occurred to me that flash could win his match at WCG, and there is a legitimate chance this is the last year of wcg. THE CURSE CONTINUES | ||

 . Oh well, at least I'll get to see Stork playing :D. Also, let's see if Flash is in any playing condition by then or not, it should be fun to see Proleague/whatever BW event is going on at WCG, unless they have to pay $1500 per player going there O.o | ||

12월 둘째 주에 열리는 세계적인 게임대회 월드 사이버 게임즈(WCG) 2011에는 국내 최대 e스포츠리그인 프로리그도 함께한다. 8년만에 한국에서 개최되는 WCG와 프로리그의 만남으로 국내외 e스포츠 팬들을 위한 그 어느 때보다 열광적인 e스포츠 축제의 장이 될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 12월 8일(목)에는 CJ 엔투스 대 삼성전자 칸, 9일(금)에는 KT Rolster 대 SK텔레콤 T1의 스타크래프트 프로리그 경기가 오후 5시부터 펼쳐진다. 10일(토) 오후 5시부터는 웅진 Stars 대 Q’SENN, STX SOUL대 IT Bank가 대결하는 스페셜포스2 프로리그가 두 경기 연달아 부산 벡스코 WCG 메인무대에서 개최된다. ▶ WCG Presents "Proleage Week" During the 2nd week of December, the 2011 global gaming tournament World Cyber Games (WCG) will be played along with E-Sports' biggest tournament, Proleague. For the first time in 8 years, WCG will be held along with Proleague to satisfy the foreign E-Sports fans. This is expected to be a very exciting E-Sports festival. On December 8th (Thursday) CJ vs Samsung Khan and on the 9th (Friday) KT vs SKTelecom T1 fir their Starcraft Proleague matches set to start at 5PM KST. On the 10th at 5pm, Woonjin Stars vs Q'SENN and STX Soul vs IT Bank for their Special Forces 2 Proleague Matches which are also to play at WCG which is held in Busan at BEXCO, on the main stage. PS: www.e-sports.or.kr change the top menus where the proleague buttons are and the Shinhan name and logo are taken out. I think it's safe to say that Shinhan Bank is not sponsoring this year. EDIT: After a quick read of DES's "The reason for Proleague week at WCG," seems like it has a lot to do with the fact that WCG tickets cost money whereas many high level e-sports tournaments are free. And because a lot of foreign fans are paying this kind of money, they want to make sure that it is worth it? And they want to give them a taste of the professional broodwar competition? | ||

Playing Proleague is clearly the smarter option. They'll show off between 6 and 10 players playing actual games rather than a "tournament" that features all of three players. | ||
