Wasn't sure if I should make a new topic for this, but I just took so many photos and I know everyone's kind of Brood War deprived right now, so... enjoy!
also, seems pretty obvious, but spoiler warning.
Gotta say, their player boxes were kind of fail. You couldn't see either of them at all, because the window was so small, and the glare was pretty bad (so one of the camera guys had to hold up a black sheet to block the sun whenever they did a closeup.
the last GG moment. Game 5 was fantastic. Cant wait for everyone to see it :D
Bisu gets swarmed as he leaves the stage.
Stork (and his SKT jacket haha) <3
Bisu in the Press tent doing his interviews.
lol what are you doing
fighting!
People were asking him to sign all sorts of things: cellphone cases, park maps, money, anything they could find.
my favorite ♥
Afterwards, Bisu and Coach Park went to go watch the Beyblade tournament.
I guess the Bakugan guys were big fans of SC too.
Just as I was about to leave, Stork came back for the awards, so I followed to see if I could get some pictures of Taekbang moments ^^
They hung out with each other the rest of the night and seemed pretty close, which made me happy xD I did manage to get a picture with them both, and go here to see it.
STX Special Force team wins first place.
Aaaaand Stork gets his 2384723487134th silver.
Yes guys. Bisu is the champion of Starcarft. lol.
All of the foreign players that attended. The guys in blue are all from China.
EDIT:

The foreign players in the last photo? That was for all the other games as well. But I'm assuming it's only the ones who actually won first through third place, because I don't see a couple of the foreign Special Force teams that were there on Friday.

Do you know which other countries participated?
I'm not sure about the other games, but for Starcraft, there were players from Korea, China, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan.
Truly an International Esports Festival.
They should have picked up DotA or LoL or SC2 if they really believed in globalization of Esports.
It's pretty much IEF prerogative to do whatever they want and in these case to support their local scene . Sc2 has their gsl and all the hype events already .

There were about 200 spectators in the seats I think. The festival wasn't just the e-sports tournaments. I'd say most of the people there were locals who brought their kids to enjoy the various activities provided (it was kind of like a fair, with games and booths). Because Yongin is pretty far from Seoul (it took me about 2 hours to get there from where I live), I don't think any of the usual SC fans bothered to travel that far to watch.
You are so lucky. Makes me regret not getting a flight to see it, but I'll keep that for the next SL/PL finals. Thanks for sharing this, I'm really looking forward to see BvS games, their last series was epic.

It... wasn't really competitive beyblade. That was just one of the festival's activity booths for the kids that went lol

Awesome pics. So happy that Bisu kicked ass and took names! I hope we can get the replays and/or the vods asap, I am so excited. Kinda bummed that it didn't get streamed, I always enjoy the streaming environment.
I don't know about you guys, but I wanna know more about this StarCarft thing... It's seems Bisu is the supreme overlord and Protoss is the only race. Sounds like an OGN mod

yes, but he lost vs bisu at any finals: msl, korean wcg and 3 times at IEF. so nothing has changed
oh god that spelling error is just priceless. i really enjoyed the pictures of him at the beyblade tourney, was a nice setting and the pics were just really good there.
Stork, so nice. Always giving opponent the money and medal because he knows he's better. He just doesn't want to roflstomp them to make them look bad. Such a nice person!
I definitely would have taken a lot more Stork photos, but because he lost, he didn't stay for very long. He went straight to the press tent, did a short interview, then left early with January. He only came back an hour or so later for the awards ceremony (and of course to hang out with Bisu because they're totally BFFs, brotoss forever!!!!)

Starcarft Boord Wra fighting!
On the contrary, it's funny because he actually doesn't. Their head to head record in official matches is like, 9-14, with Stork winning all of their games in the last 2 years. Stork has knocked Bisu out of several OSLs and an MSL. It's just that we get that impression because Bisu is the one who tends to win in finals (whenever he gets to one) and continuously sticks Stork with silvers, despite Stork's overall better record lol.
IEF highlight shows the series started from Game 2:
Bisu spawning top right and Stork bottom left on Bloody ridge. Both players doing standard Z core Z. Bisu opting for 3 gate while Stork getting a robo.
Stork gets obs and builds a nexus at his natural, still unaware of Bisu's three gate.
Bisu goes in! and with his bigger army breaks Stork's army easily. Now Stork only has probes to defend against Bisu's goons and he ggs.
Game 3: Bisu spawns at bottom left and Stork spawns at top left on La mancha.
Both players again going for z core z but this time Bisu gets an early nexus off 2 zealots and a goon while stork gets a robo again.
Bisu's shuttle/reaver is heading towards stork's natural Riboooo!!! and a few probes die. Bisu sets up a small contain outside Stork's natural but is pushed back.
Both players continuing to add up gates while getting up tech. No sign of third for either players yet. Both also have speed shuttles.
Bisu drops two reavers at Stork's natural but Stork quickly pull probes and little damage is done.
Stork's third is delayed by a DT while Bisu has his third almost finished. Two of stork's reavers harass the third but is quickly chased away.
Big engagement in the middle with but only one of stork's reavers gets out before the shuttle is shot down. Bisu's reinforcements arrive and Stork is forced to retreat. More reinforcements and stork ggs.
Game 4 skipped
Game 5: Bisu 5 Stork 12 on Neo Aztec
Sorry i watched from half way. Wait for vods or watch now.
