Anyway, I'm planning on making some tutorial videos to show new players the basics, and there are some gameplay videos on youtube, although not many.

It seems like a lot of the people who play it a lot think they are sooo amazing and are happy to let others know whenever they win. Of course they could be easily ignored but games often fall apart when players get in giant flame-wars and intentionally ruin the game for everyone (leaving, feeding, etc.)... It might seem like this wouldn't happen often but because of the extremely small active player-base it can occur quite often. Isnt it like that in ALL MOBA's ? - O.o

Maybe it's only b/c it is the first DoTA/AoS style game I played, but I really like this game the best out of all of the ones I've played (DoTA, SOTIS, temple siege, Demigod(s?) +some other one I can't remember right now)... A couple of aspects I like about it is how you get to choose what to spend your experience points on, the day/night and increasingly tougher waves of creeps, and I also enjoy having the waypoints(capture points) and the fact that heroes on each team dictate early game strategies. I also like the limited number of heroes and how more than one person can be the same hero. I suppose the only downside to the game is that it is limited to 6 players, but I am not sure how the game would handle a change of more players. As well, with every new update, there always seems to be some sort of glitch. A big reason why I didn't like playing this for a time was people who would use drophacks/disconnect hacks(especially the ones where it won't let you log back onto bnet for a short bit), map hack(matters for day and night), and also multicommand.

If the creator doesn't recognise you, he'll often ask stuff like "What unit's the archer?" and if you don't know, he'll ban you. I have played recently, and the host will only ask you that if you are dling; if you don't answer, or answer wrong you will be banned/kicked most likely though... kind of harsh, but it really does make it harder for the team you are on to play a decent game with a "noob" It's better if you go to the link posted in the op and get the latest map, which, last I checked you can download without needing to make any account. If you are trying to learn, I know there are several players in the community that will teach you (free of course), and similar to other games there are guides on how to play and what to do (different 'builds'/how to spend your xp)

Quality on the first, and a little bit in the second, is terrible. Can't be bothered fixing it, am very tired ;o hopefully they explain things better for everyone, so you can start playing! Sorry for double post, I figured it was a big enough change to warrant one. edit WHAT half of the second video is missing D: I think I'll redo at least part 2 and probably part 1 as well. Are there any tutorials on making broodwar FPVODs?

New video, hopefully a bit better than the old Part 2. I still need to practice speaking better though ;( Anyone know any good ways to practice making videos more exciting/interesting to watch other than just making more videos?
